Followed instruction to bench bleed air out of master cylinder. A decent mounted stable bench vise was required. Used appropriate brake fluid, and a blunt object to press plunger in no more than 3/4"-1" and bled brakes on vehicle. Brake pedal near top with excellent firmness now.

Even though I have not installed the Master Cylinder due to the weather, I do not expect to run into any issues. The new master cylinder came right away and was in a sealed plastic bag to prevent any corrosion. I do plan to give it a light coat of paint in order to prevent any corrosion. This is a new master and not a rebuild. The price was excellent and free shipping at the time I order it. Cheaper than auto part stores and this was a new unit and theirs were rebuilds.
