There are not many to almost no star drag reels with this much drag and is this light and at such a low price. I dare you to find one. I was able to spool on 328yds of 15lb Berkley 9x braid, which was a surprise to me. The retrieve is relatively smooth and the power is definitely there. This reel is super versatile you can use it for jigging, bottom fishing and freshwater stuff. The only thing I changed was I bought a power handle, the reel comes with one to change out but the handle is super short and I needed a longer handle so a bought a Gomexus power handle, if you want a power handle I would definitely suggest buying an aftermarket. ... show more

I like the size of it. I use it for bass fishing with swimbaits. It not only looks great, obviously but it is smooth and has I lot of drag. I really like it!

This reel was not cheap. Considered it a name brand. Gave for Christmas 2023. First use was a musky tourney in October 2024. Broke into pieces! Tried to return or replace. No response from seller 13 FISHING store. Amazon agreed to refund but had to pay a 20% restocking fee on an item that CANNOT be resold. So disappointing. Take note - do not buy products from Amazon that have a 30 day return window if they are not going to be used immediately. At the time this was gifted, our lakes were frozen and it wasn't musky season. So disappointed in all involved. ... show more

Awesome reel, but like others have stated, mine came in a gen 2 box, and I was looking at the specs and thought, oh hell nahhh, lol. But then I opened the box and found the gen 2 reel.

The reel is great but it is used had now sticker or instructions the real wouldn’t even end the box the right way it was taped up. The real works great but it’s used not very happy with that and having to pay full price for a used real so I don’t know if I should return it and try to get another used reel ... show more
