So as I led, this is a luxury style drawer. I purchased 2 of these to put in my 2 main racks that are on either side of my console. They are highly visible so when I found these I was thrilled with the sleek look and the value is very high for cost and build. The 1 and only drawback is that the slick handle rotates into the drawer so you loose about an 1.2" on the inside of the drawer. That doesn't interfere at all with my use. The rest is all positive. These were packaged very efficiently and very protected. The brushed finish and hideaway handle on these is unique. The space inside the drawer is efficient. I have several mics in one; large and small condensers/pencils and instrument dynamics. In the other I have 4 shock mounts, a bunch of clips and other mic accessory/stand bits. The drawer pulls out all the way and is very smooth in motion. I love the hiding handle. These are surprisingly cost effective and present beautifully in a rack. I've purchased a lot of rack drawers over the years and reviewed a few here but these are by far my favorite drawers. I HIGHLY recommend these.

If you are going for form and function for a rack mounted drawer then you have found it. Congratulations, reading reviews and wondering if its going to fit what you need is over. The face plate on the front is really nice black brushed aluminum. The drawer slides are very smooth and reminds me of a higher end mechanics tool box. The drawer slide out reach is great and there is a stop so it doesn't come out. I really enjoy the grommet in the back to plug something in. I have a 24U rack in my home office to house my switches and servers and this is a very nice addition to hold some hard drives and other electronic devices. The handle is interesting, its ridged semi circle that rotates around to reveal the handle and rotate back to store it. I originally had thought it was a flexible handle that lays flat. Its a sturdy handle but I could see someone not liking it as it does take up a little space when retracted. I did have an issue with my first one having a slight bent part in the back. It worked fine but I didn't want a bend so I had Amazon replace it. My USPS lady is pretty rough on our packages so I have a suspicion that has something to do with it. Go ahead and order this, you will not be disappointed.

I did return this, but not because of the quality. My rack was just a bit too shallow, so it was my fault. I would have like to have kept because it does feel sturdy and the drawer slides smoothly with a lot of space. The brushed aluminum front gives it a higher end feel. If you have a deep enough rack and need the storage you cannot go wrong with this.

I own several of these drawers in various heights and have been very pleased with all of them. The brushed finish looks great alongside pro audio gear, especially compared to the standard powder coating you find on most other drawers. They're just as sturdy as any other drawer I've owned. The drawers move smoothly on their rails, and have a small but satisfying "catch" when closed. They come with a liner mat and mounting hardware (screws, nylon washers, and cage nuts should you need them), which was great since it allowed me to throw them straight in to the rack. The hide-away handle gives the drawer face a very clean look. Pushing on the left end reveals the handle. Although it hasn't been a problem for me so far, the handles do have a bit of "wiggle room," so rattle in a loud audio environment is a possibility. I'd love to see AC Infinity make locking versions. Bottom line: these are sturdy, great looking rack drawers for a reasonable price..

I bought this item this week and got in on time this past Saturday. I have installed it at my church and found out that it fits perfectly. The drawer moves in and out easily and the lock works as it should. Everything was included as described. Built very sturdy and the finish is excellent. I would suggest this to anyone else that is looking for something like this one. Package was in good shape and not damaged on delivery, and came on time.

I liked how these looked and the functionality so I ordered 3 of them. A few months later I noticed the drawers weren't closing as well. I inspected and found out that the drawers were sagging because the metal was cheap and bending. The rails were separating from the sides cause the side to bow in. I didn't have much in the drawers, just a few cables and what not. Probably no more than a couple Lbs. Very disappointed because I'm stuck trying to figure out how to trash them and I'm out the money. Don't buy! All of mine became defective and it was too late to return them.

OK, it’s a decent drawer. I do like the handle on the front however it arrives scratched up on the face which I was quite shocked because they advertise it as an upgraded face plate. Thankfully Amazon took care of it and Amazon is always awesome. It’s decent I would buy it and give it a try Again

I like these drawers for their appearance and features such as their retractable handle. They really add a touch of class to my setup. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because of the 3 rivets on the bottom edge of the faceplate. These rivets protrude enough to make contact with anything mounted directly beneath the drawer. I found that by lightly tapping the rivet heads 3 or 4 times with a tack hammer they can be flattened enough to clear any normal sized equipment mounted directly below them. Keep this in mind especially if you plan on mounting multiple drawers.
