I wanted something a little classier than exposed silver ducting as this was going in a location that can be viewed by visitors. This meets that criteria. The exterior is a matte/somewhat shiny black finish covering over the silver that makes it look like it is hiding in plain sight. Nice stuff.

I used this for connecting to my 6" in-line fan from my CO2 laser. It worked well. You just need to be careful and not let it rub or rip on anything sharp. It is pretty thin and flimsy. And while this is not really a issue while in use, it can become a issue while moving it around. Just be careful when installing it, or if you have to move things into place to use the fan each time. These seems well made. The outer material seems fairly tough and resistant to tearing. The hose flexes very easily if you need to route it in a certain direction or around something. Also includes two hose clamps so it's ready to go out of the box.

Great quality and easy to work with. I ran two 25 foot sections and connected it with a cheap aluminum connector sealed first with aluminum tape then the 4 inch clamps. The clamps are great but you have to take your time working the pipe over the fittings due to the insulation inside the vent pipe. Be patient. This is a quality vent pipe. I ran it and tapped into an existing outside vent due to foamed attic restrictions. Used a Y connector. Sone say exhaust fans sone work well with more than 20 feet of vent pipe. Mine set at 110 CFM is pushing just fine . Sturdy and won’t calapse . Definitely recommend this product. Great value ... show more
