Description

Product Description This ducting is designed for various ventilation, circulation, and heating/cooling transfer applications. It features four-layer protection, making it more durable and resistant to leaks than single-layer designs. The internal layer is made of heavy-duty dual aluminum foil that is fire/flame resistant. Its outer layer utilizes dual PVC thermoplastic that protects the aluminum from cuts and tears while stopping leakage. Each duct tube is held together by an internal steel-wire spiral that is flexible and easy to install in hard to reach places. The ducting can be shortened by cutting the tube to fit various applications. Includes two stainless steel duct clamps. Applications Primarily used with duct fan systems in various air circulation and ventilation projects including hydroponic grow rooms and tents, bathrooms and attics, heating and cooling transportation, and other installations. It is also used to cool AV equipment rooms, closets, racks, and cabinets. Flexible ducting tube designed to route airflow in home HVAC applications. Creates a passage to supply, return, and exhaust air. Ducting tubes are a vital part of any room that requires a regular exchange of air, facilitating air delivery for proper ventilation. Using ducting will streamline the airflow, ensuring good indoor air quality and thermal comfort in your home or workplace. Features dual layer protection made of an outer thermoplastic and an inner aluminum. Employs a four-layer design that resists leaks, tears, and cuts. The spiral wire holds the tubular shape, while the inner lining stays smooth and straight when stretched out, maximizing airflow and diminishing CFM loss. Makes installation easy by bending the aluminum duct tube in any direction. This allows you to accommodate most space restrictions. This set includes two steel duct clamps that secure the aluminum tubing to your inline fan or other duct openings. Fastens the loop using a Phillips screw. • Durable and Reliable 8-Inch Aluminum Ducting – Perfect for Ventilation and Exhaust
Size: 8 Inch
The AC Infinity Flexible 8-Inch Aluminum Ducting (8 feet long) is a fantastic choice for anyone setting up or upgrading a ventilation system. I use mine with an AC Infinity inline fan, and the results have been excellent—it moves air efficiently while staying strong and secure. The four-layer protection (dual aluminum foil, PET, and steel wire spiral) makes this ducting not only flexible but also very durable. It doesn’t tear or kink easily like cheaper ducting, and the extra thickness helps keep it from collapsing under pressure. The flexibility makes it easy to route through tight corners, and installation was straightforward with the included clamps. ✅ Pros: Heavy-duty four-layer construction for long-lasting use Flexible design makes installation easy, even in tight spaces Works perfectly with inline fans, grow tents, hydroponics, and HVAC setups 8-foot length is versatile for most setups Comes with sturdy clamps for secure attachment ❌ Cons: A little stiffer than thinner ducting, but that’s the tradeoff for durability At 8 feet, you may need extensions for larger setups 💡 Tips: Use with an AC Infinity inline fan for maximum airflow efficiency. When cutting to size, make sure to trim cleanly and secure ends tightly with clamps to avoid air leaks. If using in a miner room or greenhouse, pair it with a soffit vent to direct air outside effectively. Avoid bending too sharply—keep smooth curves for better airflow. Bottom Line: This ducting is built to last and does its job extremely well. Whether you’re cooling a miner setup, venting a grow tent, or upgrading your HVAC system, the durability and flexibility make it worth the investment. ... show more

    • Durable, true to size ducting that resists kinking
Size: 4 Inch
The four layer build is the real difference here compared to thinner single layer ducting. The inner aluminum foil layer is fire resistant, and the outer thermoplastic layer adds real resistance to tearing and punctures while routing it through tight spaces. The internal steel wire spiral keeps the tube round and open even after bending it around obstacles, rather than collapsing or kinking the way cheap ducting tends to. It stretched to full length without issue and the diameter fit snugly over a standard inline fan connection, no fighting to get it seated. The two included clamps are good quality and cinch down tight for a proper seal. Works well whether the application is a grow tent, dryer vent, or general exhaust routing. ... show more

    • perfect
Size: 6 Inch
I've used steel ducts and insulated flex duct and then recently tried this. It comes at a better cost than the insulated duct and can even complete easily with solid steel ducts. This is a high quality, easy to work with and kink free duct. I used to route heat from my oil furnace to a new basement room and installation was easy and seems like it will stand the rest of time. Will buy again when I do room number 2 ... show more

    • Not cat proof
Size: 8 Inch
quality of materal is good but watch the length. I got one a few months ago to exaust a fan outsid and during a rain storm a cat tried to get in through it and it fell from the ceiling it was mounted on and the cat freaked out and riped it up. So I got a new one ( ducting not cat ) and want to install it and its 1.5ft shorter. Kinda odd being I just went to my history and hit Buy Again. I had to remount the fan closer to the exit spot. other then cat proof and length issues its a good product. ... show more

    • Excellent non-insulated ducting
Size: 10 Inch
This is probably the best non-insulated flex duct available with a foil liner. It does provide some modest insulation but not to a real R value. It is however much less bulky and easier to work with than true insulation rated duct. I used it to connect an Aprilair E130 dehumidifier to my return side HVAC ducting and it was perfect for my needs. I do wish it came in white or gray though. I think that option would be a real selling point for this type of product, rather than black. Also, while this is still the thickest non-insulated flex duct duct I’ve found, they count the metal spring that keeps the duct shape as one of the four layers, which is not a very honest way to market this otherwise best of class product. ... show more

I bought this as a replacement for the ducting for my portable a.c. It fit and works perfectly. It almost works like insulated ducting lettig off very little heat. I recommend it.
