Came with a good knee pad to help preventing injury and is also useful for doing other exercises like a plank. However, would definitely recommend getting something bigger for those that have a wider stance as the pad isn’t big enough for other uses. Quality is solid but does pick up dust easily. Grips are not very meaty if you’re looking for something with good purchase. First timers be warned that grip strength does factor in with handle being on the narrower side. When I was a child my father has an abdominal roller and I remember hearing him use it before he got ready to go to work. He used it every morning until he reached retirement age and his knees were bothering him. I wanted something that would help me train my abdominals and while I am using weights, I wanted something additional. The set up of this abdominal roller was super easy and I was surprised by how quiet it truly is. I am using a folded Yoga mat for knee support and am on a carpet to do my exercises. The roller is incredibly stable and strong (I am only 5’2” and weigh 135 lbs - female). There were no issues with the roller slipping and it remained completely stable during my entire workout. I will say this also worked my arms and back muscles as well so I felt like I was getting a partial upper body workout in addition to working my abdominal muscles. It’s not overly large and can easily store in a basket where I have other workout equipment. This far this is a total winner and I appreciate how functional this is. I am currently using it for ten minutes a day however as my strength increases I plan to increase the timeframe. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who desires to increase their abdominal muscles as well as tone.

It’s hard for me to find an abdominal exercise my body doesn’t get used to fairly quickly. With this simple set up I’m getting some of the best a workouts I’ve ever gotten. Even better than the machines my college put in their gym. 10/10 would buy again
