I got this Abdominal binder from Pauline because I have an upcoming hysterectomy and I heard these are helpful for recovery. So while I cannot tell you how it helps with that just yet, I can tell you how it feels walking around, breathing, eating and coughing in it. It is pretty comfortable. My waist measures 28 inches at the narrowest part and I got the medium. I was surprised there where no smaller sizes. I measure over 9 inches in width . I am considered long waisted and it really covers my entire abdominal cavity. I think 1 inch less would be better because this really just covers too much of my body-even encroaching on my breasts. It has a nice amount of stretch for breathing while simultaneously providing support. The Velcro seems to hold well and the belt fits a wide variety of sizes but will be too wide for a petite woman. I am 66 inches and long waisted. Anyone shorter it will be very wide. I tested it over a cotton t-shirt and it did not slide around. It stayed put. These are designed to wear outside a shirt. So I did not wash it to test. It seems like it will last long enough to do it's job. I have never used a product like this before so am not an expert. But it seems that it will work fine in helping me post OP and the price at around 20 bucks is OK. I would still compare prices just in case.

Just had a procedure done and this abdominal binder gave my stomach so much support. It compresses so it relieves some of the pain. It’s adjustable for a better comfort. What I also like is that it’s good material and doesn’t roll over the love handles.

I am reviewing the Abdominal Binder Post Surgery - Premium Belly Band for Stomach Support & Compression - Promote Recovery for Postpartum, Hysterectomy, Tummy Tuck, Hernia - Durable No-Fray Belly Wrap Waist Band (Size L, 9" High, Black). The measurements I took of the size Large were 44" long x 9.25" high, which is close enough to the listed dimensions to be accurate to the description. I did not purchase this for post-surgery use, but rather to provide extra support for my back. The height is enough to cover my lower back up to about the midpoint, which offers the added support I was hoping for. The material is soft, stretchy, and comfortable, and it fits the way it should. It provided support without feeling over tight while wearing it. I had no issues with it binding or digging in when moving from standing to sitting and back again. Under a looser fitting shirt, it was effectively concealed while wearing, which is a plus. The area it covered was slightly warmer, but not to an uncomfortable level. The fabric was also gentle on my skin, with no irritation. It was very easy to put on by myself, and the Velcro closure makes it simple to adjust. As you tighten it, you can “walk” the band over to get a more secure fit, which is very convenient. I am rating this 5 stars for its fit, comfort, and versatility. It works well not only for its intended post surgery use but also for general back support, which makes it a good value for the price.

I wasn’t sure what I would think of this since I have never used an abdominal binder before. The elastic is wide enough to cover my entire abdomen but is quite long and with it being stretchy it was a learning curve to put it on snug enough. Once on, I didn’t think about it again because it was so comfortable. The black lines have a good stretch and the silver, allow the fabric to be more breathable. I have worn it several times now, with the thickness of the fabric and the Velcro not destroying it, the product seems durable. I don’t see any warping or distortion from elastic fatigue so I think I will have long-lasting use from this product. The Velcro holds the binder in place well and I didn’t notice any slippage or places it began to peel up. I wore the abs binder over a shirt and next to my skin and both were comfortable for all day wear. I wouldn’t mind if there was a little more support if I was using this for posture, but since that wasn’t my purpose in wearing it, I am happy with the level of support it provides. This is a fair value for the product I received.
