this is my first time using a binder. Pro- this binder is very comfortable compared to another one I tried which was not wearable. The fabric is softer and you can wear it while doing your daily activities! con- I am not familiar with what a binder is supposed to feel like and I cannot tell if it is compressing my muscles adequately for me to exercise safely since it is so soft. The smallest size available is medium so I am not able to order a small to compare the fit.

I got this abdominal binder for after pregnancy and it worked great! I am usually a size small, so I was worried about M being the smallest option, but it fit well. It has a good amount of Velcro and can attach anywhere to the binder. Definitely recommend for after surgery or postpartum.

Look. I very recently had major abdominal surgery—not a tummy tuck, I wish—and I've been living in these things for weeks. So when I say I've tested multiple binders and have opinions, I mean it with the weight of someone who's been strapped into compression gear while trying to sleep, walk, and exist without wanting to scream. This QEESMEI binder is solid. Not life-changing, not the best I've ever worn, but solid. What works: The 9-inch width is a sweet spot—wide enough to cover the full surgical area without digging into my ribs or hips. At 5'10" with a longer torso, that matters. The breathable bamboo charcoal fiber material is genuinely comfortable against the skin, and I didn't get the rash some reviewers mentioned. The dual Velcro closures let you adjust compression without taking the whole thing off, which is a small mercy when you're already in pain and just want to lie down. The two built-in back ribs actually help with posture and lower back support. If you've had abdominal surgery, you know the hunch—this gently reminds you to stand up straight without being aggressive about it. Fit caveat: The size chart on the listing is not accurate. Based on the measurements they provided, I ordered a medium. It was too small—wouldn't close comfortably without digging into my hips. I'll need to exchange for a large. So here's my advice: if you're between sizes or have hips at all, go up at least one size. The chart is optimistic at best. The catch: The Velcro is aggressive. Like, "I need my partner to help me peel this off" aggressive. Some users reported the binding separating from the belt after a few weeks. I haven't had that issue yet, but I'm watching it. Also, the material has a faint synthetic smell out of the package—it fades, but worth noting. The verdict: Four stars because it does the job, it's comfortable enough to sleep in (which I did), and the price is reasonable. But the sizing chart being wrong and those durability questions keep it from a perfect score. If you need post-surgery support and don't want to spend $60 on a name brand, this will get you through—just order a size up from what you think you need.
