This is a very simple piece of workout kit. It came in four pieces. 2 Handles, 1 metal rod, and the wheel. It was fairly easy to put together, but it did require a bit of effort to push the handles on all the way. There are no bearings, so the wheel doesn't spin smoothly on the metal rod. There is some resistance, but this doesn't cause any problems with the use of the equipment as your body weight will overcome any of the resistance. I want to say that the lack of smooth rolling bearings makes the exercise a bit easier. Overall, it's does what it's supposed to do. Best of all, it came with a small foam piece that will save your knees when working out on hard wood floors or concrete.

Quite frankly, I'm not sure what makes one ab roller wheel different from another, but this one does what I'd expect it to do. The handles are made of a comfortable non-slip rubber. Interestingly, when I manually try to turn the wheel, it does not roll smoothly yet when I use the roller for exercise, it rolls smoothly on the carpet. I'm not sure what the pad is for, and there are no usage instructions. The pad is not long enough for me to roll the wheel on, so I'll probably just toss the pad. The description mentions working different muscle groups, including abs, shoulders and back. The way I was using it, I could definitely and immediately feel it in the abs but not shoulders or back. I wonder if you have to stretch way far out to get the shoulder and back impact - and I'm years away from that. Would have liked to see usage instructions for how to use the wheel to affect the different muscle groups. Assembly was a snap, although I'm not able to get the handles inserted as far as shown in the description's picture - and that's even after following step 4 of the assembly instructions. It does not seem to affect usage, though. All in all, I think it's built well and suits my needs. I can easily see me using this for a few (yes, literally a 'few') minutes each day. That's all it takes right now to feel my abs working. Hey, if it took 20 minutes to get to that point, I'd likely find an excuse to do something else for those 20 minutes. Just 5 minutes - there is no excuse!

Honestly, you don't need to spend anymore than what this thing costs ($10) for a decent ab roller. If you're spending more than that... why? You literally just need a wheel with handlebars on both sides that can take your weight. That's it! That said, this thing is pretty well made. It moves smoothly, is comfortable to hold, and gives me a great ab workout. If it does break down the line, so be it! As long as it lasts the year, I'll be satisfied personally.

Although this item was inexpensive, I'd prefer to spend more for something more stable. I couldn't get it to work, as I kept falling to the sides and nearly hurt my jaw. While I can admit I may not have the right skills to use it, I believe any exercise tool should prioritize safety, especially for the majority of users.

My husband wanted it. He likes it a lot and gave it a 5. It was easy to put together, the handles are a comfortable size. The knee pad could have been a little softer maybe; but not a big deal. I tried it. Clearly I need to work on my abs! I couldn't get it to roll back and so did a slooooow face-plant. Next time I'll use it up near a wall so it can't get away from me. :-)

I thought I would have trouble with this product because the handles did not go onto the metal axle far enough to keep the wheel from wobbling. However, I took a rubber mallet to it and pounded the handles on, now they fit snugly and there is no wheel wobble. I suppose the tight fit is intentional, but the product should have come with some instructions advising the user on best method to assemble it. The included rubber pad is presumably a kneeling pad but is really too small for me. The wheel itself works well, and the rubber coating is just thick enough to provide a little cushioning for the shoulders when rolling it out. Plenty of online videos on how to use an abdominal rolling wheel, and for the nominal price this is a very good fitness product. Recommended....

This was easy to assemble and comfortable on the hands. I like that there is a slight crown to the wheel making it easier and smoother to use for ab rollouts that target the obliques. Also comes with a kneeling mat, so if you are using this outside the gym and don't have access to those nice padded floors, you can protect yourself. Seems to be very sturdy and definitely has all you need to blast your core.
