The root cause of printhead clogging is the accumulation of ink particles inside. If the printer is not used for a long time, keep it powered on. The printer has a holiday automatic cleaning mode to avoid clogging of the print head. What should I do if the print head is clogged? Do not disassemble it to clean it yourself. In particular, avoid flushing it with water, as this may cause it to burn. The correct approach is: 1. Click on the screen cleaning function; 2. Contact the after-sales technical support. Why does ink mixing occur during printing? This is due to not cleaning waste ink. During printing, all used ink turns into black waste ink.We use a syringe to extract this ink (do not release your hand during suction; you need to keep pulling continuously, otherwise the ink may flow back). Why is there no white ink coverage when I print in white? The cause of this issue is likely due to the tendency of white ink to settle, which can prevent proper printing. This is a very well constructed printer. The housing is steel, and it's heavy. There is some assembly required, and for first timers it could prove daunting. While the written instructions are kind of hard to follow, there are videos that can help. The printhead is not installed, and while that might intimidate novices, it's actually a very good thing, because it could be damaged in transit, plus eventually you're going to have to replace it anyway so everyone needs to know how to install one. Once we got it ready to print, the most difficult part for us was the software. There is a steep learning curve with both the RIIN software, and the BetterPrint software, but once you understand each one's purpose, and get the right settings ( there are videos online for that too) this machine prints like a dream. It has a much wider color gamut than my Epson 2100 DTG printer, and the difference in brightness between this printer and the DTG is astounding, plus it's at least twice as fast, and time is money. The only downside for my decision is that the unit did not come with everything you see in the pictures. when you choose to buy just the printer, keep in mind that it does not come with any ink, powder, or a roll of paper. Those items are part of a higher priced package, and that was not clear in the product description. I guess I could strike a star in the rating for that, but I'm not, because I'm just that impressed with the functionality of the printer. I wanted to make a correction with my review of this printer. In the last paragraph I said the printer didn't come with everything in the the advertisement. As it turns out, that isn't correct. The ink, glue, and roll of film arrived separately the day after writing the review, and I need to clear up that issue. ... show more

I tried a different brand before this one that was terrible. This printer has been amazing and runs perfectly. Tech support was amazing helping me get it set up and adjusted properly. Even when I got frustrated they stuck with me. When I had to get a new laptop and needed help again they jumped right in and got me up and running in minutes. Can't say enough good things about the after sale support you receive. Machine rarely has problems printing and the prints are clear and vibrant. Definitely a much better buy than I first attempt and when you spend this much it's so important to get a quality product ... show more

It arrived. Should have been plug and play like the last two i purchased from elsewhere. Had to install the printhead. Had several conversations with many techs at midnight to early in the morning trying to get it to work. They had me damn near take the entire printer apart to troubleshoot. I threatened to send it back. There was an internal part that was bent. They kept telling me it was deformed. I had to try to straighten it out. I think they sent me a used printer that had been damaged and returned. The printer did not have a cutter on it which is one of the reasons I purchased it. They told me they were out of stock and would send it as it becomes available. I'm still waiting. You have to babysit the printer because if your computer times out, it will stop printing. I was told I have to turn it off every night. It's working now but I'm just not impressed. Should have asked for a refund but my business was damn near shut down waiting on it to get here even though they say it will ship from US, that's a lie, and waiting on the techs to get it up and running. ... show more

I received the printer and one of the lifter that holds the printer lid was bad, I chatted with customer service and before I knew it I l received a replacement at no extra charge.
