This oil filter fit my application fine and is of the same design as other oil filters often ending in the number 60. It seemed to be well made and a fair value given its got plenty of media (I cut it open after using it for a month and a long trip) Most oil filters are really nothing special engineering wise and all should do an ok job given that the oil is changed regularly. Of course the mfg want you to think theirs is the best and tout all these beta ratings, microns and such. When in reality all that has to happen is the filter to go into bypass a few times and all that special engineering is wasted. This happens when either the filter is clogged, I've only ever seen one clogged and Ive seen a lot of filters in my 25 years of working in the fleet maint industry servicing 4000 gov. vehicles thru one large facility. Bypass happens also during times when the oil is thick (read cold) and/or the engine is stressed like in police vehicles when the functionality of the oil filter is very important. If the oil pressure reaches a certain point vs the oil pump demand the filter will bypass as to not lose pressure. All filters must have this feature and all i've ever seen do. Although I have no actual specs on this filter all filters are a balance between restriction to flow which increases efficiency and enough pleat surface to filter the oil for the intended mileage interval. Believe it or not we have cars that go 25K on the same filter and only get changed when the TBN on the oil reaches a certain point so 10K isn't a problem. Opening the filters shows the filter has plenty of life left if required. This is why filters have gotten so small, those large filters aren't needed and hold an excessive amount of oil increasing startup delay in oil getting to the top. This is splitting hairs but the point is most filters are ok, just use the right weight oil and change it at mfg rec interval for severe usage and you wont have an issue...I will try to post a pic of the media of this one and show what it picked up in 7K over a month of hard driving from Alabama to Oregon and back...Genes 2 cents and I hope this gets posted, its important info!

I'm rarely impressed by a spin-on oil filter. I change religiously on time at each oil change and assume that if it's not leaking, it's ok. But my encounter with this A-Premium EOF 10060-C is worth commenting on. Right out of the box! Inside the shipping box, it was in its own brown protective box. Inside of that was the typical filter packaging box with all the product info, instructions, claims, etc. Inside of that was the filter, once again nicely protected inside a snug layer of shrink wrap. I have NEVER encountered this before, but it ensures no debris or trash/dirt/insect intrusion. Nice. Remove the shrink wrap and I see that the filter has a beautiful black powder coat paint job worthy of application on a new Mercedes. I also immediately notice that this filter is obviously heavier in weight than the best-selling national brand I typically use. It's also about 1/4" longer (not a problem). The steel is heavier with superior stamping and the sealing gasket is thicker. Looking inside the hole, I see the use of a sealing agent at the far end of the filter dividing the inner/outer chambers (my best-selling brand filter shows no sealing agent). The inner reinforcing element (just like the mounting base plate) also shows superior stamping for strength. I guess I'll never know how well this thing actually "filters", but on inspection externally, it's the most well manufactured and packaged oil filter I've ever handled. At this price, I'm a future buyer.
