I was hesitant to order an unbranded filter, but I am quite sick of Ford gouging its customers on simple things like filters. As far as these are concerned, I used a micrometer to check all the dimensions of the filter and all are within specs of OEM Motorcraft. The filter media looks to be of better quality than any other name brand and is firmly embedded in epoxy all around, no voids seen.
