I installed this in my wifes 2015 subaru legacy with the HK amp. I had to use the canbus computer thing with a custom harness i had made to get it working because the amplifier system in her car is overly complicated but that is not the Atoto radio’s fault. Everything works great, the steering wheel buttons are easy to program and modify at any time. We bought it for carplay since we both have iphones but also so we can plug USB in and play movies and videos on road trips and stops along the way. At first, siri would not hear a single thing we would say and the audio for phone calls was sometimes difficult to understand. But i updated to the latest firmware and it totally fixed my issues. Siri works fine now and calls are more clear. It’s extremely snappy and quick and the screen is nice clear quality. Can hardly see the pixels unless you’re real close. There is no issues with lag. Make sure to read the instructions because they are very good. I was having issues with wireless carplay being reliable but then i read the instructions and realized it was my fault. You must be connected to bluetooth1 and also carplayAP wifi for it to work. If your phone likes to automatically connect to other wifi hot spots nearby then that might cause carplay to disconnect. But that’s not the radios fault. You also have the option to use carplay plugged in but we have not needed to. Overall very happy. And kindof bitter that i spent 3x more for a name brand one in my other car with way less features. Next time i’ll probably get ATOTO again for my next car. Oh. The physical mounting of all the hardware was annoying and the screws are cheap and strip easy. But i was patient and it all eventually went together nicely.

Update. Over a month after messaging them and no response from Atoto about my issues. Sound still cuts out and only comes back when it wants to. Sometimes if I factory reset the device it'll work. But usually after a couple trips in the car it'll come back on its own. I don't know what is causing this but know I will never buy this brand again. Connectivity is poor, Bluetooth cuts out if you step out to reach the trunk, short wifi distance, no signal from house just,wifi hotspot but that doesn't work. Camera randomly stops working and stereo looses sound occasionally. Updates are through ATOTO website and this unit gives an error after you enter all the required information so you can get to the download. It only has a single RCA jack for sub. You'll need to tap the speaker wires and purchase line converters for additional amps. Mic performance is poor too. The only positive thing is steering wheel controls work.

At first had a little problem with setup, but with technical help from folks at Atoto I finally enjoying this unit. Installed in my 2009 Escape with front dash cam. Great quality and features.

When it works, it's great, the sound quality is good, not too much lag in the menu, but it has problems with connectivity, the Wi-Fi doesn't always work, the Bluetooth is lacking. Everytime I start the car, I have to swipe down, go into settings, wlan and tap on the Wi-Fi ssid, then it connects to my phone, but even though it's connected, YouTube doesn't work, it acts like it's not online. I can't get Google Maps to go into night mode with the car headlights on. I reached out to Atoto several times asking for help, they take a long time to answer and blame the installer. The sent me a firmware update that crashed the unit, luckily I was to factory reset it and it worked again. They sent me backup camera for my trouble, but it didn't work either, since the installer had everything open, I opted to install one that he was selling. The microphone is crap, I can't get Wi-Fi from my house even though I have an Omada system throughout my house and yard. The steering wheel controls don't work either. This unit was installed in a 2002 Mercedes-Benz E320 Wagon, I also installed a 1000w amp, 6 new speakers and a dedicated 400w amp for the factory sub. I want to install the TPMS. I really wish this unit would have worked better, but I can't return it because it's past the return window by over a year. It's still installed, I just deal with it's problems. I would stay away from this unit, maybe their S series is better, but I honestly won't try it out.

A good budget choice. For the price it's hard to beat the performance. A good screen with decent sound. The equalizer is good to dial in your personal sound preferences. Android Auto is very handy when traveling. I find myself frequently using voice commands. It gives you the option of wireless or wired android auto no extra hardware needed. The screen size is perfect for the backup camera.

This is a nice unit. It is Works as described appears to be quality made. One of my concerns was getting the steering wheel controls to work properly. It worked fine with the Axxess adapter for my 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It’s a bit of work to get the required metra double din dash adapter to fit and it does block my HVAC vents a bit but overall I’m happy with the look. There are also some small screws which attach the unit that are difficult to install and easy to distort while putting in. The Atoto customer service was quick to send me some replacements in case I need them. I’ll be purchasing the rear camera and ODB adapter as well.

phone is constantly disconnected and only works through wifi and Bluetooth which both dont like to work consistently and usually will disconnect half way through a trip and is impossible to get to reconnect once it disconnects, the cable does nothing for connection and doesnt even charge your phone. it's useless majority of the time unless you enjoy being forced to listen to the radio with minimal functionality there as well. the once in a while when it does work, it works pretty okay but almost every single day i find myself wanting to just throw it out the window.
