These light strings go on "f o r e v e r". I wasn't expecting that much length. I have a large deck perimeter and I had no trouble going all the way around. The solar panel seem to activate with a little bit of sun, may not run all night, but looks good at sunset .. the light is a little blue in color - I think that is the nature of 'LED'. The solar lights are surprisingly bright and last all night long on a charge! I have them set on twinkle and it makes my tree look like it's sparkling! Love them. Highly recommend!
