Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store Visit the Store Is this unit able to increase the water pressure above the input pressure? This regulator is for reducing the higher pressure. You can't adjust the water pressure above the pressure of the water source. The needle doesn’t move when I turn on the water. What can I do? If the pressure gauge is stuck and needle doesn't go back to 0 even when regulator is not installed. Take the gauge off and re-screw it on. Then try the regulator again. If the regulator still fails to work, tell us for replacement. What pressure is it recommended to set it at? The correct water pressure for an RV can vary depending on the model and the condition of your RV's plumbing system. Most RV experts recommend you never let the water pressure exceed 60 psi. Somewhere around 40 to 50 psi is ideal for many RVs. RV Water System Kit Water Pressure Regulator RV Water Filter Sewer Hose Rinse Kit 5/8" RV Water Hose

  • This is a great item and very helpful
This right here works better than any pressure regulator I've used on my campers. And installs easily and has a pressure gauge that works. This regulator will help you keep from overpressuring the camper piping and water heater. It is adjustable, mine came adjusted forv45 psi. Which is normal house water pressure. ... show more

  • Reliable Water Pressure Protection for Any RV Setup
I’ve used a few different water pressure regulators over the years, and this RVGUARD regulator has honestly been one of the best so far. The build quality feels solid and durable right out of the box — definitely not cheap plastic. It was easy to hook up, and I really like having the adjustable pressure feature with the gauge so I can see exactly what the water pressure is at the campground. After installing it, my water flow inside the camper stayed strong and consistent while still protecting the RV plumbing from high pressure. No leaks, no issues, and the brass construction gives me confidence it’ll last a long time. The included inlet screen is also a nice touch for keeping debris out of the system. Overall, this is a great investment for any RV owner wanting peace of mind and reliable water pressure control. Works exactly as advertised and I’d absolutely recommend it to fellow campers. ... show more

  • Easy to Adjust for Low-Pressure Chicken Watering Setup
I am using this water pressure regulator for a non-RV setup to significantly reduce water pressure for an automatic chicken watering system. We hard-lined the chicken waterer into our main water line, and the pressure needs to stay low and steady enough to keep the waterer filled without overflowing. This regulator was very easy to install inline with our PVC plumbing, and it was simple to adjust the pressure down below 5 PSI, which is exactly what I needed. Once adjusted, it held the lower pressure well and kept the system working properly. The only issue I had was when the weather warmed up. The pressure dropped to zero and the water stopped filling. I originally adjusted it during colder weather, so my best guess is that the temperature change affected the setting or caused enough expansion somewhere in the system to stop the flow. I made a quick adjustment, and it started working again. Overall, this has worked well for my setup. It is easy to install, easy to adjust, and useful if you need controlled low water pressure. I am giving it 4 stars only because I had to readjust it after a temperature change. ... show more

  • Essential RV Water Pressure Regulator — A Must-Have for Peace of Mind
I’ve used RV water pressure regulators for years, but I never fully appreciated how critical they are until a recent camping trip. At this campground, the faucet was upside down, and if I had installed the regulator normally, it would have hit the power pedestal next to it. So I improvised: I connected a 12" flex hose to the faucet, then the regulator, then the rest of my 25' hose, filter, and finally the RV. When disconnecting, I noticed the 12" flex hose upstream of the regulator had swollen to nearly twice its size and looked like it could burst. That image instantly drove home why using a pressure regulator isn’t optional—it protects your hoses, fittings, and RV plumbing from potentially dangerous high pressure. This brass, lead-free, adjustable RVGUARD regulator is easy to install, sturdy, and reliable. After seeing firsthand how it prevented what could have been a disaster, I’ll never camp without it. Highly recommended for all RV owners who care about protecting their rig’s water system. ... show more

  • Good product.
Works good so far. I do feel as though the pressure could have a better design on it vs using a flat head screw driver to adjust. And the guard seems super cheap

  • Good regulators
The regulator worked fine then started to fail. The return process was flawless and tells me this is a good company. I ordered a replacement and it works perfectly!
