    • Decent machine for the price
I bought the BH860 backhoe attachment came in good time, was surprisingly undamaged in shippping. The mechmaxx website, user manual and customer service will all tell you it fits a category 1 or 2, but it absolutely does NOT fit. It fits a category 0 at 18"-22" wide. You can adapt with lower link pins but it's not great for them not to know this about their product or to disclose more parts are needed to make it fit. When i contacted customer service about the issue they actually sent me a set of lower link pins which fit better than anything I was finding at any of the farm supply stores. Really impressed with that. The pressure relief is set a little conservatively, there is no difference in power higher than 300 rpm. The chains that hold the hydraulic pump allow for way too much slop for my liking so modified it with some angle iron so it could instead be securely bolted on. It'll be a little smaller than you expect size wise and i have a tall tractor so the dig reach is even less but after 1 month, overall satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

Was very surprised by the power and performance of this backhoe.Very easy to assemble and is a work horse. No issues at all. Customer service is top, they took care of everything and made it easy. I will be purchasing again from this company.
