This is a great value vs. manufactured foundations (which we priced at $250-$400). Smart engineering, easy to assemble, good quality cover. Tip that it will be much easier to use a T-5/32 (or metric equiv) drive bit on a screwdriver than the included Allen key. We have a frame rather than legs to raise the foundation above the floor. Be careful. The frame is too big for most bed sets. We had to fight to get it in. The quality of the frame is terrible. You can see in the picture it came damaged and we had to bend back parts of the mounting plates.

I loved the easy way I could put it together. Only one screw gave me trouble because the little bar it was supposed to go through was bent and it being steel I couldn’t bend it back. The reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is the way my mattress slides on it. When I get up in the mornings I have to slide it back in place several inches. But other than that I love it.
