I ordered this 5" size foundation for my antique full-size bed frame, which is a bit smaller than a normal modern bed. I did replace the original side rails so it would fit a modern mattress size (the originals were almost 2" shorter than what we use today) and I took a chance that this foundation would fit width wise. It came unassembled in a sturdy box, and after laying out all the parts assembly was fairly straight forward. It took about 30 minutes to get everything together (the main outside double frame was preassembled in 4 sections, only requiring folding out and bolting together) and after a few minutes of loosely connecting everything with the supplied bolts and nuts I then tightened everything up and it became surprisingly sturdy. I did notice that there was a very slight sag in the center at the joint, even after final tightening of the bolts, so I made a wooden prop and placed it underneath the center and that took care of it. (I have back problems and require a perfectly flat surface for the mattress, which is why I ordered this unit). There's a nice non-slip cover included for this frame, and after I got everything put together, I added 4 slats to the bed, dropped the frame inside and was pleasantly surprised to find that this unit fit my old bed perfectly. It is very sturdy, doesn't make squeaks or popping sounds during the night, and it looks like I made a good choice. The best part is that air circulation will be much improved with this unit, unlike the pieces of plywood I had before. The 5" height is perfect for my 10" mattress, so it isn't too high or too low. This unit was a good investment, and it should last many years. It's hard to find a good box spring that isn't too high when combined with a taller mattress for an old antique bed frame, so this was a great choice, and it seems to have solved my problem perfectly. I highly recommend this unit for a good sturdy foundation at a fair price.

I bought this box spring for my son, who is still getting used to sleeping in his own room, and he absolutely loves it. He enjoys jumping from my bed to his new bed like it is his own little playground. The assembly was very easy and straightforward. I was expecting the cover to completely wrap around the frame, but it is more like a regular mattress cover, so the frame itself is not fully enclosed. This was not a deal breaker for me, but it is something to keep in mind. Overall, this is a great option if you are looking for an affordable and functional bed base. It feels sturdy enough for our needs and was a good choice for my son's room.

It's fabulous !! Everything is all good !! It's strong and sturdy, the price is definitely right, the assembly was very reasonable. After the opening and getting the pieces on the floor, it went together simply. Once you get the cover on , it looks like any boxspring you've ever had, except one thing, its much lighter. One person could move it. If you need a boxspring, order one. I'll never buy one from a bedding store again.

We ordered the 9 inch king sized box spring to use as a bedframe. It was the only bedframe we could afford as we're so grateful for it. It fits our mattress perfectly and was very easy to build. Took less than 30 minutes with two people. The metal is a bit soft and can be bent, the mattress on top prevent bending of the cheaper metal. No issues with sagging/sinking metal. The bed frame is light and can accidentally be pushed out of place so it would be more stable on a carpet/rug.

Excellent alternative to the traditional material and wood box spring. Honestly I think it's much better for the environment because if you're finished with it someone can scrap that metal. Also it was very easy to put together. In the bed we use it's not visible however it fit perfectly and is extremely sturdy. They have a very good night sleep. No creaking noises, no smell. Excellent purchase highly recommend

Can I just say I am so impressed with the package engineers work? The bolts and instructions were in the same place with excellent details on the build instructions. The actual design is quite amazing with using lock nuts AND the same bolt heads throughout the whole design. The fabric cover also fits nicely and very snug too! Dimensionality it’s exactly as advertised and well done mind you. Over all I couldn’t have asked for a better inexpensive low box spring. Thank you.
