I bought this slushie maker on a whim after seeing it online, and it’s turned out to be such a fun little purchase! The first time we tried it, my son and I mixed some orange juice in and watched it start turning icy right before our eyes. He thought it was magic—and honestly, so did I. There is no leakage, and it hums with a gentle purr that doesn't drown out conversation. Now it’s become our go-to treat after school or on warm afternoons. What I love most is how easy it is. You just keep the cup in the freezer, pour in your favorite drink, and squeeze. Within minutes, you’ve got a perfectly slushy consistency. We’ve experimented with soda, lemonade, and of course sangria and beer. It’s also super easy to clean—just rinse it out and it’s ready to refreeze. The few parts that can fit into a dishwasher seem to be dishwasher safe. The materials feel durable, and it’s held up well after several weeks of regular use. For the price, I think it’s a fair value considering how often we’ve used it and the smiles it’s brought. If you’re looking for a small, unique gadget to add some novelty to your kitchen—or a fun gift idea—I’d definitely recommend this one.

This machine is pretty fun! You can make a lot of different things with it. They all require a decent amount of sugar or Allulose for sugar-free versions. The really nice recipe book suggests using liquid allulose so be sure to order some if you want sugar-free versions. The machine itself is pretty heavy and large. It takes up a decent amount of space. Also, I really don't like the gold/copper and ivory color of the machine. I wish I would have gotten a different color. It's rather ugly. Make sure you choose wisely. However, it works great! It does what it is made to do and it does it well. It didn't take very long for my liquids to turn into slushes. The texture of the finished product was so smooth! I have made a few things using sodas, but have not ventured into dairy-based recipes yet. I think a coffee drink is my next adventure. Cleanup is very easy, just run water through it a few times on the Clean cycle then take apart the auger and rinse it again. One really annoying thing I ran into several times is that it has two side panels that come off when you pull up on them. This makes it very hard to move the machine by holding or even touching the sides. They constantly fell off as I tried to move the machine in my cupboard. I will eventually either glue them on or throw them away. Overall, it's a great machine and I would buy it again! Great for summer!
