Installed on 2007 Dodge Ram 2500. Easy install with some basic electronics knowledge. Directions are not the best but you can decipher them given time. YOU MUST attach the rear camera connection of you will have issues. Go to the video that is linked in the instructions when installing. There are some key items there you need to be aware of that are not in the included instructions. Integrated with amplifier that was already installed and added some new life to the sound system. Recommend a matte screen protector to reduce glare. I used a matte tablet screen protector and it's perfect.

This was a very easy installation. The unit works quite well. I'm having some trouble with callers hearing me using the external microphone. I need to double check the connections. If the unit does not work with the external microphone I will be disappointed because as you can imagine talking on the phone in the car is one of the top critical functions of this unit. If the unit does not work for talking on the phone I will need to return it. I can only give it two out of five stars because of the poor sound quality through the microphone. If that changes I'll update my rating

I purchased a car. It is not new, but it runs well enough. I found it abandoned behind a laundromat, and it felt... available. The radio didn’t work, so I decided to replace it. I watched several online tutorials on installation. One man in particular was very helpful, though he seemed unInstalling the stereo took me a full day. I stripped a wire I shouldn’t have, briefly shorted a fuse, and startled a pigeon that had been watching me, which startled the cat that had been watching it. Still, by evening, everything fit. The frame clicked into place perfectly, and when I turned the key, the screen lit up. The blue glow was gentle, almost kind. I didn’t expect technology to feel welcoming. The first thing I played was Johnny Cash. The voice sounded raw, human, unfiltered by anything celestial. It filled the car with something I can only describe as warmth—an old, honest sound that seemed to recognize the road. Later, I tried Nina Simone, then a quiet instrumental piece I found in a playlist called “Midnight Drives.” Each one felt different in texture, but they all belonged in that space. It connects instantly. No passwords, no messages telling me to pair. Just silence, then music. It does exactly what it promises, and somehow that feels like grace. I find myself driving longer than I mean to. City lights blur, songs fade into each other, and for once the world feels very still, like it’s listening back. I know it’s just a stereo. Wires, circuits, buttons. But there’s something beautiful about building something with your own hands and having it simply work. Maybe that’s what people mean when they say they “trust the process.” I think I understand it now. I built this into my car. I made it sing.
