  • Solid Build, Clean Design, but Limited Cable Management
Style: A3-mATX Black
I recently built my PC using the Lian Li A3, and I’m overall pleased with the case. It delivers excellent build quality, a clean aesthetic, and decent cooling, but there are a few things to consider before making your purchase. Pros: Build Quality: The Lian Li A3 has a premium feel with its aluminum construction. It’s solid and lightweight, making it easy to handle and position on your desk. Design: The minimalist design is sleek and clean. The front panel is simple, with a nice look that fits well in any setup. The side panel is a mix of mesh and aluminum, providing a nice balance of airflow and durability. Cooling: While it doesn't have a dedicated front mesh panel, the case still has adequate airflow, especially when combined with good quality fans. The mesh-aluminum side panel does a decent job of letting air flow in while maintaining the case’s clean design. Compact Size: The A3 is a compact case, perfect for users who are working with limited space but still want to fit in full-size components like a standard GPU. Cons: Limited Cable Management: The cable management space behind the motherboard tray is quite tight, which made organizing cables a bit tricky. It’s doable, but not as easy as some other cases that offer more space and options for cable routing. Overall: The Lian Li A3 is a solid choice for anyone looking for a high-quality, minimalist case. While the limited cable management space and the lack of a tempered glass side panel might be drawbacks for some, it’s still a great option for users who prioritize design and compactness over flashy features. If you're okay with a bit of effort in cable management, this case is a great value. ... show more

  • Seriously impressive case for the size!
Style: A3-mATX Black
I’m really loving this Lian Li A3 case. For a micro-ATX setup, the flexibility is insane—being able to move the PSU around made cable management way easier than I expected. It feels super solid and well-built, which you’d expect from a DAN Cases collaboration. Even though it’s compact, it fits everything perfectly without feeling cramped. The modular design is a lifesaver, and it just looks sleek on my desk. If you're looking for a small form factor build that doesn't make you compromise on parts, this is definitely the one. 5 stars all day! ... show more

  • Quintessential mATX Case
Style: A3-mATX Black
Aside from the Sama IM01 being the only case smaller than this one that has no sacrifices in an mATX case + ATX PSU. I prefer this one because it is easier to work in and a higher build quality. Sure if you want thick aluminum frames and nothing else then the iron oven in the SAMA is for you. But DAN did an amazing job here making the case capable of anything you want! 140mm fans can be strapped on the top side and bottom (Bottom needs zip ties but it works) GPU can be north of 320mm long and take up as many slots as it wants with there being 4. And thermals are always a huge plus here. Because of the longer design its easy to get as much air as possible through the bottom and make a makeshift wind tunnel for the GPU+CPU. And this differs from the SAMA because of the mesh sidings. I may have just got lucky but my side panels are holding up great. No warping at all and the natural air that comes through the more accessible holes makes this case more "GPU friendly". The only downside I can think of is the lack of cable organization. But in a SFF build thats kind of their MO. TLDR: Great case 4th case to build in and the best one yet if you want smaller dont bother with mATX and go get a Fractal ITX. ... show more

  • Beautiful case
Style: A3-mATX Black
A great case overall, its downside is how hard it is to manage cables inside of it. I also I wish they sold the glass panel one as well instead of having to buy that separately

  • Great case so far but questions with quality
Style: A3-mATX Black
Bought this case to move my system that was previously in a Phanteks Shift 2 to improve thermal performance but still be in the similar size factor. Building in the case wasn’t bad & a much better experience than my previous shift 2. I found that with my sfx power supply cable length was just on the cusp of not being long enough but was able to make do without extra strain on the cables or Mobo. Cooling performance & flexibility is elite. I was able to fit 2 140mm fans at the top and a 280mm rad on the side. However I caution using BeQuiets aio products at the top of the case as I was not able to fit the rad unless the psu bracket was set to the lowest position because of the water pump being located on the tubes but ran into GPU compatibility issues & psu cable lengths did not permit. I recommend that you go with a typical asetek AIO design. I opted to side mount and while not ideal let me cram everything I needed. While tight there is just enough clearance where the fans do not bump or touch any wires or water pump. Moving onto the bad and so far it’s been the quality of the case. Right off the bat of receiving the case one of the nubs that let the side fan bracket attach to the case was bent. I had to bend it back with pliers just so it could fit back onto the case. I still need to fight with it to get it to fit nicely but it’s the best I was able to do. Another issue I had was the clasping mechanisms for the side panel pegs snapped. This now prevents the side panel from closing flush and leaves a somewhat ugly gap on the case. This is because the clasps are made of plastic and overall I thought they could be designed better. If you’re looking for flexibility of cooling for an ITX or MAtx build while on a budget this case could be a good option. However I would question if other offerings from ASUS or fractal are better in terms of quality. But for sub $100 the case is okay. ... show more

  • Great
Style: A3-mATX Black
Great case especially for the $$$$! Build quality is solid, plenty of brackets for different PSUs. The preinstalled motherboard standoffs were all in the correct places for the MSI PRO H610M-G DDR4 LGA 1700 I would buy this case again for another build; but for cable management, I would use a modular power supply. ... show more
