Both remotes worked out of the box. Synced with a Craftsman (red button) opener without problems. Description says it uses an alkaline battery, but both came with CR2032 Lithium button cells installed. Not a problem, just not the description. Lightweight and compact, single actuator is better for me since my older opener only has open/close. Listed as long range but they seem to be about the same as the older remotes. Pretty good value at $17 for two. I'll purchase again if needed.

Overall it was easy to set up but one of the remotes did not work. The garage door guy said it just might be defective. Otherwise the rest of it works great!

Finally found one that works perfectly with my craftsman garage door opener with a red learn button! This was the third one I bought that stated it would, but the others didn't work! The directions are SUPER easy and it all proegramed on the first try. The only thing I suggest, is using longer screws mount the keypad. The ones that came with it were very short. So we swapped those out.

Most of these remotes correspond to a certain color learn button on the opener, but the learn button on the opener was faded and couldn't tell what color it was supposed to be. This remote said it would work with all the colors - took about 5 seconds to program and works great.
