when friends pick me up I prefer exiting thru the garage door---this key fob garage door opener is so so much better than taking the one off of my sun visor in the car! It is not as strong - distance wise- but when we pull into the driveway it works just fine. I am a 76 yr old woman who got on the ladder, punched the appropriate buttons (as shown on a video on this product) and on the second try it worked. So I would say it is not difficult to install :-) And the price was great -much less expensive than the "brand name" for my Chamberlain opener

I’ve had a good experience with this so far. It was easy to pair with my garage door, and it has a normal operating range, comparable to my full size remote. I now use it as my main remote and love opening the garage from my pocket.

This remote is small, but the transmitter is weak. I have to have the front bumper almost against the fiberglass garage door for the signal to reach the opener. It works okay as long as you can wait until you are in the driveway up against the garage door.
