Works well but have to press hard. Had to get someone to install as I wasn’t able to get it to work. Usually I am pretty handy. Was happier when it took 3 times for him to install. Follow directions word by word.

I am using this on one Chamberlain garage door opener. We have 3 garage doors, but I probably won't program it for the 2 older Sears garage door openers which I installed circa 1993. Setting up initial password and programming it to the opener was not difficult, changing the passcode to a new number was somewhat troublesome but I eventually got it. ... show more

Only bad...you have to re-enter code to close garage door. My old key pad all you had to do was press enter...a little annoying.

Works good easy to install and program the only thing I don’t like is you have to enter your password to close the open door where my old one you only had to hit the enter button to close the door

    • Internal board/parts not sealed- waterproof?
Took off one star for misleading, its waterproofing is only the cover. The parts on the board are not conformal coated....meaning they are not sealed from elements. I wonder how long it will last. Following the instructions, the unit programmed well. Took me 2 trys to get it correctly. This is initial findings. Lets see how well and long it lasts against the weather.
