We needed an extra a.c. unit and dont like the window unit because we have an order home (wooden frames) that we worry about frame damage. With this unit you put the air part and close the window down. No worry about some heavy bulky unit falling out of the window. This unit cools a large 20x20 room with ease and is very quiet for it being an inside unit. The air escapes from the house with no issues with the added remote I can adjust without even getting off the couch that's a bonus. Sleep mode timer and the l.e.d. facing let's me know what's going on at a quick glance. Unit is small and lightweight enough that I can carry to the second floor alone. This AC unit does work fairly well, and seems to be built well. There is an issue, for our situation, that the manufacturer doesn't provide a good solution for solving. They give a window adapter (for the heat exhaust) that's designed to work with a sliding type of window, and we have casement style (opening like a door does) throughout the house. So it's not like I can't put in a vent through a wall for it, but something to consider when purchasing. Venting outdoors brings up another issue which I find more concerning than the limited window adapter! This exhaust that needs to be expelled outside, is from a fan that removes the excess heat (from any AC unit) and blowing it to the outdoors. The issue is that it's getting this air supply from INSIDE the structure where the unit is located. As I understand physics, this will create a small vacuum throughout the structure, and that vacuum will likely be filled from OUTSIDE air being pulled in through cracks and small openings in the walls/windows/vents/ect. that most structures typically have. So you're using electricity to cool the air around you, that excess heat is blown outside, but this causes air, from OUTSIDE, to be drawn into the structure from anywhere it can get in at!! Seems like an inefficient, wasteful, and never-ending cycle to me. There needs to be a way to use outside air for the heat removal back to the outside, WITHOUT it being allowed to warm up the interior first - just my 2 cents here... I've never paid any attention to these portable AC units before, so maybe they all function this way. But again, it is something to consider prior to going this route. For the first issue, I'll bestow an overall rating of 4.6 stars on the product. Add in the second issue, and I'm dropping it to 3.6 stars! Best I can do for it!

We have one bedroom in the house that just never cools as well as the others, and so I was looking for a non-bulky option to cool off that room during the warm Spring & Summer months here in the south. This portable AC is just what I was looking for! Setup was easy; the directions are clear and easy to understand. Getting it set up in the window wasn't hard at all (although I do recommend purchasing some weatherproof tape and insulation strips to help seal off the window and further secure everything into your window.) As for the AC itself, it cools phenomenally well and quickly! I love that we can set a temp, and it'll kick on when the room temp gets too high, cool it down and then turn back off till it's needed again. Yes, it's a little noisy when running but it doesn't bother me at all (I like the white noise) but there is a "sleep" setting that I haven't tried yet, I'd imagine that's for quieter running during nighttime hours if needed. This AC doesn't take up much space and it's not bulky or clunky. It's clean, modern looking and works very well. I also like that it came with a drainage tube which will make emptying the tank clean & easy. Overall, very very happy with this portable AC! Works great!!

This unit is light weight and on wheels which makes it very convenient to use anywhere in your room. This portable AC unit was very easy to maneuver and set up, and can easily be moved to any room. We liked that the air flow is strong and comes out with considerable force. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. Be sure that the power outlet that you use has room below to accommodate the long portable A/C plug (see photos). The This unit was packaged extremely well and arrived undamaged. Cold air began to immediately blow out upon turning on the unit. Directions are taped on top of the exhaust fan so they cannot be missed. This was a good value.

This is a pretty decent air conditioner that is good enough for a bedroom or maybe a medium size den. it puts off good airflow and it not too loud either. It is a pretty basic A/C unit that you can vent out the window. So far it seems good and as long as it holds up then it is also a good value too.
