I recently added the Luvioro RV Awning Sun Shade to my camper setup, and it has been a great upgrade. One great thing about this model was the ability to leave the upper section attached to the awning when it's rolled up. That feature alone makes setup and teardown much easier. Once the top section is installed, the lower panel simply zips on when I want extra shade or privacy, and it can be removed in seconds when it's time to pack up. The material feel durable and well-made. The mesh is thicker than I expected and does a great job of blocking sunlight and reducing heat without completely closing off the space. It noticeably keeps the patio area cooler and also helps protect the side of the RV from direct sun exposure. While the denser weave does reduce airflow somewhat compared to lighter mesh screens, it provides excellent shade and a surprising amount of privacy. Looking straight through, visibility is still good, but from an angle it's much harder for others to see in. Installation was straightforward, although having a second person to help slide the top section into the awning track made the initial setup easier. After that, attaching the lower section is quick and simple. The included hardware, reinforced stitching, sturdy grommets, and tie-downs all give it a solid, quality feel. Like any awning accessory, you'll still want to use common sense in windy conditions, but it feels sturdy enough for regular camping use. Another thing I appreciate is that it doesn't make the campsite feel enclosed. The mesh still allows enough visibility and airflow to comfortably relax, cook, or spend time outdoors while cutting down on glare and harsh afternoon sun. When not in use, the shade folds up compactly and stores easily. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality, functionality, and convenience of this sun shade. The durable construction, easy setup, added privacy, and excellent sun protection make it a worthwhile addition to any RV. As long as you measure your awning correctly before ordering, I think it's an excellent value and a product I'd definitely recommend to other RV owners.

This Luvioro RV awning sun shade screen is a nice upgrade for a camper or travel trailer, especially if you spend time camping in direct sun. The 8' x 13'3" size is made to fit a 14' RV awning, and the jet black mesh gives the awning area a cleaner, more finished look. It adds shade, privacy, and a more comfortable outdoor sitting area without completely closing everything in. The material feels more heavy-duty than a basic shade screen. The listing shows a combination of 1200D Oxford cloth at the top and high-density vinyl mesh for the lower section, which makes sense because the top section takes more stress where it rolls into the awning. The mesh still allows airflow, so it helps block sun and cut down glare while keeping the area from feeling stuffy. I bought this Luvioro sun shade for our 19 foot awning and the 8 x 18’3" size fits perfectly. We do a lot of camping in open spots with very little tree cover and the 90% UV block really helps keep the area under the awning much cooler during the middle of the day. The mesh material is heavy duty but still breathable so you get a nice breeze coming through without the blinding glare of the sun. I really like the zipper design because it makes it so much easier to take the bottom portion off when we need to retract the awning quickly for a storm without having to slide the whole thing out of the roller channel. It also provides a surprising amount of privacy; we can see out to keep an eye on the campsite but people walking by can’t really see in. It came with all the stakes and bungees needed to tie it down and it stayed secure even when the wind picked up a bit. If you spend a lot of time outside your trailer or camper this is a must have for staying comfortable in the summer.

This Sun Shade Screen worked out very well for our 16' Lippert RV Awning. The material is heavy, and has a nice quality feel to it. The shade works very well for keeping the sun off of us while outside our RV, and our Lippert glass entry door. Those doors are notorious for shattering in high heat situations. The shade does keep the sun off of the RV patio area, but also limits airflow unless the wind is blowing lengthwise along the RV. The shade does a fair job of providing privacy when camping in close quarters as a surprise bonus. It still allows some visibility straight through, but from a slight angle provides good privacy. The initial install is easier done with a helper to hold up the permanent portion as it is slid into place on the awning tube. After that, subsequent setup is pretty easy. Our trailer sits quite high, so a stool or short ladder is required to zip the lower portion to the upper. The included ground anchors only work if you are NOT parked on pavement or rocky ground. In those situations, 3 or 4 empty milk jugs filled with water can be used to keep the screen from flapping in the wind. I'm more than willing to give this sun screen a 5 star rating based on overall quality of materials and construction, ease of installation and subsequent setup, functionality, and value at the currently listed price. Highly recommended!

We have an 18' awning on the side of our toy hauler. We picked this up to add some shade to our setup, and it's turned out to be one of the best additions to our RV. We live in the high desert, and use our hauler to camp at off road desert races a few times a year, so shade is always a huge concern. So is wind. We've set this up a few times now and it turn our awning area almost into a separate little room off the front of the trailer. We used some good screw in stakes to tie it down, and it does a great job at blocking both the sun and the wind. It was pretty simple to install and slid right in. Being able to unzip the screen and keep the upper portion in the awning is awesome. After the first install it's just a quick zip on feature. This goes everywhere with us now!

I actually used this over a garden bed rather than on an RV awning. I wanted something that would cut part of the day’s sun so the plants would not get scorched, and this worked well for that. It blocks enough light to make a difference without fully shading everything out, which is exactly what I needed. The material feels heavy-duty and has held up well outdoors. Since I’m not using it on an RV, I can’t really judge the exact fit or performance for its intended setup, but based on the build and how it handles weather and tension, I can see why it would likely do well there too. For my use, it has been a practical way to create partial shade that can be adjusted depending on the time of day. I’d rate it 5 stars for durability and versatility. Tip: This works well anywhere you need partial shade, not just on an awning, as long as you have a solid way to secure it.

I ordered this Luvioro RV awning shade to our setup, it fits really good and it has already made a difference in how we use our outdoor space. My family really enjoyed having that extra bit of privacy while we ate dinner and relaxed outside. What I appreciate most is the design. It is built with a combination of 1200D Oxford cloth and a high-density vinyl mesh, which does a great job of blocking the sun while still letting a breeze through. Installation was quick and easy, taking only a minute or two since the zipper design means you don't have to fiddle with a ladder to get the top part on.
