  • GREAT POWER STRIP AT THE PRICE
The moment this power strip arrived, I needed it! Who doesn’t need a large power strip with 1,200 joules of protection? I love that it sits flat and that all the plugs fit in without getting in each other’s way. I realize that this power strip only costs thirty bucks, but if it cost a hundred bucks, which another similar type of strip could cost, I’d expect the switches to snap on and off with authority. These don’t. ... show more

  • Switches Are Weak
I ordered this outlet strip because of the switches on each outlet, however they were not as strong of a switch as I was hoping. These take very little pressure to turn on/off, which means there is not much pressure on the contacts, which means carbon build up over time which means the switches will become a fire danger over time. In how much time? I"m not sure, which is why I only deducted one star. I will definitely be updating this if anything goes wrong with it over the next little while but so far, it's working just like a power strip should! ... show more

  • Great for the crafter
The power strip feels well made. I like the individual control for each outlet. I can leave chargers and other devices plugged in, instead of having to unplug them... for example, I can leave the hot glue gun plugged in and use the switch to shut it off, instead of having to unplug after every use... Much easier. The plug is flat so it will fit behind furniture if needed and the cord is at an offset angle so it doesn't block the plug. My only complaint is the the girth is quite large and does take up a lot of room... It is a lot thicker than I expected. The power strip is as described and pictured on Amazon - 4 Stars from me. ... show more

  • Sturdy
This surge protector feels built well with a metal housing. The slots have enough room between them so none of them are blocked off by each other. The cable is long enough and has an angled plug. Each slot has a switch above it to individually turn it off.

  • Solid construction, lots of room for power adapters
My old relatives only had to worry about plugging in the radio and a lamp. That's why old houses hardly have any electrical outlets. Now it seems like there are never enough outlets nearby. This power strip is metal, so it feels durable, has fire resistance, and it's grounded for improved safety. Each individual outlet can be switched on or off separately. It's not just a power strip -- it has basic surge protection too. The best feature is the orientation of the outlets. They're arranged so you can use wall transformer type power supplies without interfering with adjacent outlets. The typical power strip isn't designed for that, so you end up with unusable outlets when your power adapters take so much space. This one can fit 8 power adapters side by side if you need that. You don't have to worry about "phantom power" draw, as you can turn them off individually. The metal construction gives me confidence. The outlet orientation allows me to make maximum use of them, which is really appreciated. ... show more

  • Flexible Power
This is a heavy duty power strip. It is metal as advertised and a tad bit heavy by comparison to the competitors cheap plastic strips. The cord has a flat wall plug that allows you to plug it in to the wall with tight clearance say for example behind a cabinet. There is plenty of wire for the wall plug allowing you to be flexible with the placement. There are mounting points in the back of the strip if you want to mount it to a wall. I love the individual power switches. I have multiple pieces of equipment in use with this strip and I need to be able to selectively power them on or off. This strip makes it incredibly convenient for me. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a mounting bracket that allowed you to drill through the front without playing with precise screw placement. Great product. It feels solid. ... show more

  • Not your average power strip
This is really well made. Excellent cord and heavy duty plug. The power strip has a very solid feel to it but is surprisingly light weight. It's larger than I expected, but I appreciate it being large enough to accommodate multiple plug-in transformers. My only gripe is that all of the ground plugs are near it's respective switch. I would rather have the ground opposite the switch (on at least a few) due to how I'd like to access the switches and also how I'd like to plug things into the power strip after it's permanently mounted. ... show more

  • Works great
I do a ton of landscaping on the side and have multiple trimmers and tools that use batteries. I was really excited to get this power strip because I can leave all the chargers plugged in but turned off when I’m not using them. I made me a charging station with 8 different chargers plugged in. Most power strips have one on/off button that controls the whole strip. As soon as I find my label maker I am going to label each plug as well to make it easier. Very happy customer. ... show more
