I purchased this finger thumb piano as a gift donation for a 16 year old autistic child who loves music., along with other musical items. It arrived in a nice sturdy little box. I was only expecting the thumb piano, but was pleasantly surprised to find a folded strip of paper with musical songs that could be played on it. Also, came with a nicely black beaded rope ( inside a plastic bagggie) that can be attached through a hole (at the top of the thumb piano) to carry or hang when not in use. I am really impressed on how well the Thumb Nail Piano is made. The wood is nice and the sound exactly what I expected. The photo attached does not do it justice. Much nicer than it looks.     • Works fine, not hard to use, small, decent sound--be aware of pitch problems.

This works better than I thought it might, but the pitch on a couple of the "tines" is off. I can use it for students as a motivating novelty, briefly, but wouldn't want to train their ears this way. The sound is pretty good for its size. Any age range could do this--easy to use--except maybe preschoolers. It fits as you see, right in the palm, so can go anywhere. ... show more

This was a birthday gift for our 8 year old and he loves it! Super easy to learn songs on and it comes with a small booklet of songs. Very cute size and fun beginner musical instrument that doesn't feel like it's for a little kid. Sounds great and us adults have had fun with it too!!
