I received this bread kit today and was really excited because it seemed to be an awesome kit for the price however it came with NO silicone bread sling....very disappointed!!!

I just got this today, and the first thing I did wash it up and make some bread. I love round, crusty French bread the most! These tools make it easy to succeed. The sling has a measurement conversion chart written on it. It is also make of a cling material so I have it adhered to the side of my refrigerator. ( I make lots of bread ) It also rolls up small and neat if you want to store it in a drawer, etc. The Dutch whisk is something I've never tried before. It was wonderful not to have to push a bunch of dough out of a regular whisk or off a wooden spoon while mixing it. The tools are made well and have attractive wood handles. I already had a dough cutter, but I use it for scooping up cut vegetables and other things, so it will be nice having one exclusively for bread. It also comes with a picture chart to show you how to change the blade on the tool used to cut slits in the top of the bread before baking. This was much easier than using a knife to cut them. I would say I’m definitely not a pro sourdough baker but more intermediate and I thought this set was perfect! I received it roughly 2 days ago and have already used it twice! The sourdough whisk is nice and sturdy, the metal is pretty thick and does not bend. I had been using parchment paper previously and just tried out the silicone baking mat in my Dutch oven, that was very convenient and easy (I always had to put slits in my parchment paper to keep it from forming wrinkle marks on my loaves). The lame is a pretty standard lame, you can’t go wrong with that. Also, the tool meant for shaping is really good quality as well. It’s not a flimsy metal, which I like! All in all, I’m very happy with my order and I will be using it all the time! I will update if I have any issues with any of the items that came with the set but so far so good!
