Great beehive! It was easy to assemble these boxes together, I was especially happy to see how well the joints fit together. 100% tight fit! As someone who makes boxes himself, I'm very impressed! There are pre-drilled holes for screws. So after assembly - these boxes feel very solid and I'm sure will last for many many years. The Inner cover doesn't include a notch. So if you want to give your bees extra ventilation and another entrance on top, than you will need to notch it yourself. Easy to do. Also, it's the second hive I got from them, the first set I got from them last year had a screened bottom board (which was of excellent quality in itself, and if you prefer screened bottom, look for their set with that included - great quality there). So just want to confirm that both times I'm very happy with the quality. Highly recommend! ... show more

    • Foundation does not fit frames
The bottom board was coming apart I had the add screws, and the foundation is alittle too small, keeps falling out of the frame. I guess I will have to buy new foundation and frames...not happy
