Hatched all that were fertilized. Used twice now, timer doesn't work though. And candleing light could be better, but if we couldn't see through the egg, we kept them. They hatched!

The media could not be loaded. Bought this in a rush as it was the only one I could get overnight. I was mildly hopeful as it was not my 1st choice of incubators. come to find out, it's a great incubator! We used the dry hatch method instead of the traditional method because this didn't control the humidity. It was always insanely high at over 60% and condensation built up around the motor area. We purchased a thermometer/hygrometer as a check since this one doesn't have a readout for humidity. The display, reads 100 degrees and held at 99.5. PERFECT! We put a towel under the base to insulate it as it has a thin plastic base and we has it set on a tile counter. The cool tile would chill the eggs. Then we put a light dish towel on the top to retain heat and after day 3 we closed the vent. It was a perfect environment! Since the cups were no good, we left the hoses used to connect them open until day 18 then plugged them with dampened paper towels which kept the humidity at 15-20% until hatching day. Perfect! We did use the LED candeling light for the 1st candeling and it's decent for light colored eggs, but when things really get going it wasnt strong enough, but I dont have any complaints about the ease of its use. We put in a cabinet liner in at day 18 (lockdown) when we removed the turner so it would give chicks a slip-free surface to stand on. on day 21 we had 100% successful natural hatch of 6 viable eggs!!! Clean up was a breeze and we have another batch of 15 in there now. Again, all temps and humidity are holding the same as it did before. Two things I would have liked is 1, to have the motor wire in the lid hidden in some way for cleaning and 2, make the tray just a tad bigger so theres a little more room between the outside egg ring and the inside. but honestly, if you watch how the eggs turn, you can rearrange your eggs so they dont bump ends. I was pretty impressed with this little no name incubator and recommend to buy it if your dry hatching. Its fantastic and a great value for your money.

Don't waste your money. My neighbor and I both bought this incubator. Both of us had major issues with it. With mine, the motor died and I had to rely on turning manually. With hers, it started using too much water and over heating the eggs. I borrowed hers after mine broke. Hers cooked all 12 eggs I had going after the day 10 check.

Instructions were easy. Easy to put together. Temperature not accurate, we had to run higher than instructed for appropriate temperature. Also disappointed with humidity control. I tried twice to hatch the chicks grew and never hatched and was very sad to crack eggs with full grown chicks that couldn’t hatch or tried and got vacuumed.Too much air flow within they get vacuumed and not enough humidity.
