I bought this case for an older iPhone 12 mini that we use to set parental controls on our kids phones. Originally I was just looking for something inexpensive but got excited when I found an OtterBox case within my budget. I like the colors better in person. I have the black iPhone 12 mini. The marsupial colored case lightens it up and makes it a bit more happy looking. I'm very impressed with the snug fit. It is easy to put on, and feels great in your hand. The surface doesn't seem like it'll pick up much dirt and should be easy to clean. I'd heartily recommend it as a great value and for its quality build and functionality especially at this price. Durable and nice cell phone case. The colors are vibrant and pretty as shown. The case has a good feel to hold in your hand. It is not too thin or too thick and is a good size. I think this case is a good value for as durable as it seems.

I bought this as a replacement case for my iPhone 12 mini. The silicone coating was starting to peel off the corners of my old case, which was kind of messy and annoying, so I decided to get a new case. I have to have a case for my phone, because I'm a klutz, and drop it all the time. Unfortunately, it's gotten kind of difficult to find cases for the iPhone 12 mini, since they don't make that model any longer. Amazon does have the same style silicone case that I had before, but I didn't want to go through the peeling silicone thing again, so I decided to try this OtterBox case. I know OtterBox is a good brand, and this is a good quality case. It was a bit tricky to install it on my phone, but that's good, because that means it's a good fit, and won't fall off. This case is MagSafe compatible, which is important to me, so I can keep using my MagSafe chargers. When I place my phone in the new OtterBox case on one of my chargers, it just snaps right into place with no grief. My only real criticism is that the back of the case is kind of slippery, and I've had my phone skid on me a couple of times when I put it down carelessly. I don't know why they didn't use the same grippy material on the back of the case that is on the sides. The other day my phone almost slipped into my bathroom sink! I've ordered some non-skid stickers to put on the back of it. Hopefully that will solve that problem. The case does feel good in the hand. Minor nitpick: I wish it came in more colors. My phone is red, and the only colors I thought could look good with my phone were the black and the "Blue Heeler". I didn't really care for the teal-ish tone of the Blue Heeler, so I just ordered the black. Now I keep having trouble seeing my phone, because I'm used to looking for red, lol. If my phone is right-side up, only the edges of the case show, but that little pop of red really did make a difference in being able to visually locate my phone when I forgot where I put it down. Oh well, minor details. I know my phone is a discontinued model, but I just don't care the giant phones that everyone has now. All these tech companies worked so hard to get their phones smaller, and then they started making them bigger again. I don't get it. Anyway, if you love your iPhone 12 mini, and need a new case, this is a good choice. ... show more

I have dropped my phone! I have even thrown it. I have issues with my right arm and hand. It has protected my iPhone perfectly! It has good grip on the edges! As someone who has been a big fan of OtterBox phone cases since around 2012, I was happily surprised by this product. It actually has a slim profile and look for your phone. The outside edges of the case are VERY grippy and the back is still a classic smooth texture. The Magsafe feature of the case also fully functions without issue - allows for a very strong magnetic connection to be made with your Magsafe phone car mount. As for the integrity of the product, I think it maintains plenty of protection for your phone as long as you're not testing the integrity by dropping it from 10-20 feet in the air. I believe this phone case will definitely protect my phone from common drops from the counter to the floor or similar situations. I have had no issues after almost a week of using it daily (DOP: April 27th, 2024) and definitely recommend you take a chance and check out this product for yourself.
