Very nice economical option
Set name: 8,000 BTU
Works very well and keeps the room very cool I was surprised it didn't come with any foam strips to seal the plastic window slider pieces to the actual window sash to keep bugs out. Other units that we've purchased included multiple strips of foam with self-adhesive - that was my only disappointment. ... show more

Piece of crap air conditioner and company
Set name: 10,000 BTU
Buyer beware! I bought this product and it was delivered Mar 2nd of this year. The control panel stopped working and the air conditioner the same day. I contacted the company Garvee for replacement or a refund and they said that they could not offer me any of those options. So I contacted Amazon and they weren’t willing to help me either. I paid $239 for it for it to only work 3 months. I’m so disgusted by the decision they made. ... show more

It works. No thermostat though
Set name: 8,000 BTU
It works. I was disappointed that it doesn’t have a thermostat. I wanted it to be able to turn on and off as needed so it’s not constantly on while I’m not home. The hose to drain the water is very short so I’m buying a longer one. Otherwise works as intended. If I had to choose I’d buy a different one. I have a tosot one I like alot. I should have just gotten a second one of those ... show more

Keeps you cool
Set name: 8,000 BTU

Not worth it!
Set name: 8000 Btu
Horrible design. So we've had this unit for a few months now and while it keeps a room cool, it's worse than many other units we've had, but the worst part is the design, especially with the lower drain. If any moisture builds up and collects, the condenser fan actually starts hitting the water that pools up. I end up having to drain it like every 2 hours to try and avoid this and when I do there's maybe a few tablespoons to 1/4 cup water that comes out, so hardly any at all, but it's enough that i can hear the fan motor struggle. It shouldn't be this maintenance intensive. ... show more

DO NOT BUY!!!!
Set name: 8,000 BTU
Please, save yourself the grief of owning one if these. Cheaply made, parts do not align correctly, hose is short, not quiet etc. I could go on and but I shall stop here, assuming that you get it and will purchase any other unit but this!!
