I’m giving it a 5 star because it’s working great right now. The delivery guy sat it down not so gentle yesterday. I’m thankfulI for the great packing. I put the parts together. This 8,000 BTU cooled the room quickly. The price was fantastic. I’ve never had a portable air conditioner before and I’m going to enjoy using this. It’s quiet, easy to install, and being on wheels it feel light and easy to move around. Their pictures are exactly what I received. I used my 6,800 watt Wen generator to run it and it worked perfectly. The dehumidifier works great.

You get what you pay for. It cools well, but is louder than I wanted it to be. Thankfully my kids sleeps to white noise. Other things I hadn’t considered: You can’t see the buttons in the dark (so changing settings in a dark room is not possible. You need a flashlight.), my prior LG unit had a vent that moved up and down, which felt like covered more area faster. I did appreciate the small footprint that it took up on the floor, and the dehumidifier function did well.

The media could not be loaded. I’m very happy that I decided on this air conditioner! Cools the room down quickly and runs very quiet. I use this primarily in my bedroom because I keep my bedroom door closed to keep my cat out, and it will cool it from 90 degrees to 66 in about 10-20 minutes (that’s my best guess)The fact that it is drainage free is another reason why I chose it. I like the Dry setting for times that are more humid- it will dehumidify the air. The only other feature I would like for it to have would be WiFi so I could control it with my phone or set a schedule for it to run, but since it is only used in the bedroom, it’s not really necessary. The size of this would easily cool 1/2 of my house, which is approximately 1600 square feet.

We bought this as a supplementary unit for the second floor which seems to get hot in summer and cold in winter. We just tried it for the first time today and it is TRASH. We literally just took it out of the box for the first time since the weather is colder and it blows COLD air on the Heat setting, is louder than a jet engine and when it “cools” it heats!!! I’m so frustrated and sad because my family is coming for the holidays and I can’t even return the unit now. Total waste of money

I was a little skeptical because I hadn’t seen any reviews, but I’m glad that didn’t stop me because this thing is a beast really quiet for 14,000 BTU cools down my place pretty fast. It has a really long exhaust hose. Please don’t be skeptical like I was because this is definitely worth every pretty penny

It does work well. However, if it's hotter than 90 degrees outside, don't expect your room to be cold, but it will be cooler than outside. It's a bit noisy but it not disturbing. And the installation was simple but flimsy.

the central air does not reach an upstairs BR, but this unit cools it down w/in short time. It's pretty basic and even at low or night speed pretty audible, maybe the same level as the big hotel room A/Cs. Has a working timer we use daily. Installation simple. Unit seems to be offered under different brands. So far no drainage issues. Remote has good reach. Works for us.
