Powerful beast of a machine! This auger ran through 24 post holes in hard packed Texas clay in just a few hours. The 72cc has the power to run through small roots, hard packed clay and the 6' and 8" drives are perfect for my needs. Having the additional extensions was nice when I needed the extra depth. The machine fired up on the 2nd pull after priming it, just as others have stated. Knowing the trigger is plastic, obviously I was cautious and took care to not put any unnecessary pressure when using, but for the price, you seriously cannot go wrong. I was really hesitant to get this and considered renting, but now I own a great piece of equipment, I'm not constricted to a window of time to complete the post holes and I've got an easy way to dig out holes for planting shrubs after my fence is done. For anyone considering taking a chance...do it! Im 100% happy I did.

Works well, has a lot of torque. I live on a rock and just by bumping it i was able to dig fairly easy. Only draw back i noticed was it didn't seem to clear the dirt as much as I thought. This was my first time using one so I have nothing to compare it to. I just used a hand spade and cleaned out the loose dirt that it didn't expell. Sure made digging post holes easier. Beats a post hole digger any day.

This is a sold unit so far. I bought the 72cc. Put her together with the 10" auger, filled it with remixed gas(used the same as my weed trimmer). Started up on second pull. It has some serious torque, be careful if you hit large rocks. We have a good layer of clay about 2.5-3 ft down and it blew through it no prob. I used it that day on 21 post holes all about 4 ft deep. Would recommend. Only con was when the machine was on its side there was a slight leak from the gas cap. I put a rubber o ring in and fixed it completely. If you don't want to do that just store it upright. Happy digging!
