  • I don't go anywhere without this tripod!
Style: 50" Tripod
I absolutely love this product! For $5.00 it gets the job done! People are saying it's flimsy, what would you expect? I've had this thing for two weeks and it's done me justice. If you take care of it, I'm sure you'll have it for a long time. Pros: Lightweight. Easy to travel with. Cheap so buy two if you can just in case. Holds heavy cameras like my Rebel t5i! Does really good out in strong windy situations. A flexible head so I can use for shooting video! Cons: Cheap feel. Weak legs at times. Sometimes wobbly if not all the way secure. Has a tendency to drop a little bit if you're not holding on to it under a heavy camera. Other than that. nothing! I love it and I'm not new to dslr but I'm not professional either but I use this to blog and to take portraits and it does the job. Love it, get this tripod if you're on a tight budget! ... show more

Style: 60" Tripod
Its what I expected for the money... Nice and very light-weight which is fantastic as I'll be hiking into some pretty remote and mountainous areas and I don't want to carry a tank. The head unit is not as stable (left to right) if a wind hits you while outdoors... Overall, 5-star for value and weight. ... show more

  • Lightweight and steady
Style: 60" Tripod
I bought this tripod for use with my Nikon D3100. The camera mounts easily. The tripod is so lightweight that it feels like it is not well made but it hasn't dented or broken and I am not easy on it. It is easy to use and stores conveniently in the included bag. This was a great buy for me - easy on the wallet and gets the job done. I bought this for personal use and it serves me well. It is definitely more lightweight than my work tripods and is my tripod of choice when I go hiking. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for.
Style: 60" Tripod
For the price, it's an acceptable product. For my tastes, I found it too flimsy and one of the legs keeps coming out of the top fitting. The head does pivot smoothly and the leg locks seem to work well, but they feel too thin and I don't think it will stand the test of time. If you want a lightweight tripod that you can easily carry and don't intend to stress it much, it's probably worth the price. For me, I think I prefer something a bit stronger, so I'm going to return this one and buy a more expensive, better built model. ... show more

  • Excellent tripod
Style: 80" Tripod
I've been using this tripod for about a year for self-tapes, and it is worth every penny. Super stable, easy to adjust height and find your level, the swivel and tilt are VERY smooth, and no wear I can see. The only disappointment was the travel bag which essentially ripped in half after a handful of uses. Not a big deal, the tripod is great. The supplier also sells addition quick release plates for pretty cheap if you want to quick swap cameras or gear. ... show more

  • No, no, no, no!
Style: 60" Tripod
This is not a good quality tripod. One of the legs came out of its shoulder socket, during my initial inspection. It looks like the aluminum leg may have been adhered to the plastic socket with something like Super Glue. The elevator crank is weak and flexy, and difficult to turn. The entire head is flexy, and other adjustments don’t hold fast, or seem under-engineered. The bubble level is not level to the head. The threads holding the center post in place are poorly formed, and had not been tightened into the top frame properly. The nylon carry bag has a bad chemical smell. Phew, it’s a good thing I didn’t buy this tripod to use as a photographic tool! No, I am working on a couple of projects that each need a lightweight, collapsible leg, as from this tripod. The leg that came out of its socket was almost enough to have me pack it up for return and refund. But, I can get that re-attached with good quality marine adhesive. Unlike the top of the tripod, there are some good things to say about the legs. The cam locks secure the leg sections acceptably well; I tested them for slipping, by applying more downward force to them than they should get in my applications. The aluminum has a nice finish. The feet are ball mounted, so they will align themselves. I had been able to infer from photos that the leg-socket pivots have the pin-through-center structure that I needed. And, now, the tripod is no more. 3 legs here. Other parts piled over there. ... show more

  • Cheap Construction, does it’s job
Style: 72" Tripod
The media could not be loaded. Downsides are, cheap construction ~ product arrived broken to an extent, raise and lower flange should have been metal, or packaging utilizing some form of bubble wrap to offset the cheap construction. Level bubble on head as well as tripod allows for leveling of camera, useful for ~ likely photographers. For videography, this was ~ slightly a mistake. The shoe doesn’t grip, the material is just ~ a bit greasy perhaps. I’d try washing it as well. The construction of the plastic & metal, perhaps a bad combination that a screw would hold up the raising and lowering section, when it’s tightened still, the ~ vibrations that come from the construction manage to turn my $600 camera, into some that that audio wise, picks up the vibrations a bit more than I’d have liked. Which is to be expected, this is a cheap tripod. So treat it as such, if you intend to pick up your camera with it attached ~ probably a bit too big ... show more
