Years later, the mother daughter up and down floor lamp works really well. I put it next to the bed so I could have both uplighting in the room and a reading light when I wanted it. It looks very nice. It is stylish. You can put a decent sized LED bulb in there and get really good light output. It’s possible to knock it over if you have kids or pets who are particularly unruly. But it’s not horribly unsteady on its own. It’s easily able to be turned on and off and placed in the configuration you like if you want to use a Alexa plug or similar. It’s a good weight but again it has actual glass and can be top-heavy. The neck adjusts for a variety of positions. I’m very happy with the purchase. Use it every day and recommend.

This is really a beautiful floor lamp. I was able to put a grow bulb in the flexible part to shine on my plants on ther table next to it and it works great! Love everything about it except the turn switches are SILVER! Looks out of place when the lamp is black with faint gold embellishment. So, I painted them and now it looks perfect! Very heavy base which is great, assembly was effortless and I am very happy with this purchase.

This is a very nice lamp... It's heavy and durable, and well made. It comes with 2 60 watt bulbs for each of the sockets. The top lamp goes up to 100 watts, and the side, flexible lamp goes up to 60 watts. The lamp shades are made of a subdued patterned glass. The only issue I have with the entire lamp is that the flexible arm lamp does not keep the glass tight when you move it, because the tightening piece that secures the glass shade to the piece it attaches to, becomes loose when you move it. So maybe just position it to exactly where you want it, then tighten it and leave it alone. Overall, I'm still very pleased, and feel the price was good. I think this lamp will be in our home for at least a few decades, or until we tire of the style, which is highly unlikely since it's a classic style. :)

I love this lamp. The glass is beautiful and its perfect between our living room and dining room. The smaller light is perfect for reading and computer work. The lamp is very heavy and sturdy. Super easy to screw together. The light bulbs are perfect. I will not be changing them anytime soon.
