This one has a USB C port. All the other ones seem to have a mini USB port that is outdated from what I saw. I gave it four stars because I have the setting for it to shut off after 5 minutes when the car is idle but if you do that it won't turn on once you leave. I need something that detects when the car is in motion so that I won't have to turn it on manually. I put the setting to never shut off the screen now because anything can happen even when you're pulling off a supermarket parking lot. I got it to connect to my phone easily and I even updated it through the phone as well. It was pretty good for that. The cable is long enough so that you can tuck it into your car's interior so that it would be out of the way. The rear camera cable is actually too long I don't know if they had limousines in mind for this thing but I had to roll up the cable and tuck it in and I have a huge bulge on the interior roof of my car because of it that cable is way too long. I wish that the rear camera would have a directional Arrow or something telling us which way to stick it to the window. I put it upside down the first time I stuck it on and I had to remove it and orientated in the proper direction. I turned off the emergency recording feature because every bump it wanted to start recording an emergency video. I think you can set the sensitivity but I just turned it off because I just need something to be recording when I'm on the move. Accessing the video files with simple enough and both cameras work fine. The front camera and the rear camera were recording and I saw the videos on my laptop. The only reason I gave it four stars is because if you set the camera to shut off while your car is idle you have to turn it back on by pressing the button and that is not safe enough for me. I need something that will record even when the screen is off. You can get into a easy car accident just by pulling out of the lot in a supermarket. I don't want to come to find out that this thing turned itself off and didn't record anything. ... show more

I upgraded my previous dash cam to this new set and I am generally satisfied with it after one month. The front camera has a large screen for all the settings and the rear camera has a compact design. The manuals for installing the two cameras are separate and easy to follow. The rear camera cable is sufficiently long for my sedan and I had to wrap excess around the right sun visor. After physical installation, you will need an SD card to start and their app to update the firmware and check historical footage. I feel like the video and image quality increased a lot.     • Camera is useless
The camera itself records okay video. But for some reason it only saves in a 10 second format. Manufacture acts as if they don’t understand what I’m talking about questioning them about the videos not saving properly. Camera recently started overheating randomly and keeps recording “emergency video” I was sitting at a light nothing moving and it says it’s save an emergency video. Frustrating dealing with the manufacture and the APP itself is not helpful what’s so ever. Go for a different brand if you get into a wreck it won’t save the clip except for 10seconds at the very beginning of the video ... show more
