Really like the look of this set. They aren't the sharpest out of package, wouldn't cut through a tomato. The sharpener helps but it doesn't seem to keep them sharp long. As I was taking them out of the package I noticed what looked like hair wrapped around some of the knives, really hoping it was just strands of melted plastic from the handles. Gave them a good hand wash before using. I recommend hand washing with warm water and drying to prevent water spots. The stand is easy to scratch so put them back carefully. I like that the stand is see-through opposed to traditional knife blocks so I can keep it clean with a skinny brush. Over all happy with them so far, they serve their purpose and get compliments because they look cool in the clear stand.

When I bought these at a competitive price I was not expecting such high grade knives?! They have a nice weight to be able to firmly cut through a watermelon and not bend the blade or be too heavy. The color of the stainless steel blades are so pretty its like they are multi colored in different lights; not your standard knife set. I love how little room the block takes up on the counter and you can see through it, making it a little different., while there is a knife sharpener that came with it and able to sit on the stand. After buying this set, I was able to go through my drawer and empty out all my other knives that were not as sturdy, or easy to hold.. I even was able to sharpen my few other knives that I decided to keep with my sharpener! BONUS!! LOL

The media could not be loaded. I love my knife set. It's simple, it's not bulky and the sharpener does wonders. I just wished they could sell separately incase you lose one, don't ask me how but I hate that I am short one. My boys claim they know nothing. Anyhow they take no space and the display is pretty nice on the counter top. The holder is a little on the light side so if you aren't pulling one out directly straight then tilting it helps, it could fall over so you have to hold firmly Other wise I have to pull it out completley from the beneath my cupboards and then pull out straight up. But do I enjoy it yes I do.
