    • Is this really blu-ray compatible?
The description says it is a blu-ray drive, but the box and instructions only show it is a DVD drive, and the label on the drive does not list blu-ray. Yes, I was able to get it to play a blu-ray, but the fact that it is lacking any indication on the box, instructions, or drive itself indicates that it has not been certified as being blu-ray capable. Does what it's supposed to do. The play back quality isn't that great but that may depend on the PC that you are using. You will have to down load a DVD app to run this but this does work it will play DVD's on your PC and Blu-ray as well. Pretty easy set up. Plug, down load a player app and go. If you have Windows office subscription you can just use the MS player. ... show more
