I ordered this HILLMASTER gate wheel carrier to replace a broken (run over) wheel carrier. The item arrived as expected in excellent condition, safely packaged by the manufacturer. The mounting hardware was included which led to quick and easy installation. You just need to attach the wheel to the bottom rail of the gate. This carrier is very durable and sturdy. The material is hard tire rubber which is guaranteed to hold up for its purpose. Please not this gate carrier is only for round pipe gates. I trust this gate carrier to safely do its job since it can support weight up to 500 pounds as well. Heavy Duty Gate Helper is indeed as said in item title. Rolls true and can take the weight of a large gate. This set of wheels will definitely hold up to the wear and tear of your rolling gate. Side note, I believe it would work well with simple modification for a plywood cart to move large sheets of plywood from truck to saw. ... show more

    • Could be stronger for the weight they carry
I have a rolling chain link gate that rolls open and closed. The first set of wheels I bought had a single u bolt hold this assembly on. Within a year the wheels were bent and bearings wearing out so they wobble when in use. I purchased this double u bolt model hoping it would be more rugged, It really isn't. The wheels are already beginning to do the same as the first one. I don't know why I thought another strap would add strength. Don't make the same mistake I have made. ... show more
