I use these on 2 sheds I own as an additional deterrent. I like these because they do not require a key. Anyone determined could pry these off with a pry-bar, but that could be said about most shed locks. Once installed, all the hardware used to mount the locks are covered by the lock itself, meaning you can't just get in the shed with a screwdriver. Additionally, the metal used is a decent thickness for the price, you can't just cut it off with some bolt cutters. I do fear you could knock one of these loose with a couple good blows with a hammer, but this is not a concern for me. Whacking the lock with a hammer would be loud enough for me to hear it. It's really easy to install with the included template. It's easy to set up your password, too. The tumblers are smooth, and you can feel a "notch" when scrolling through the numbers on the tumbler. My tumblers started to bind up after a few months. After shooting them with a little WD-40, they were like new again. They are out in the elements, so it makes sense that they would need a little maintenance. I have not seen any evidence of corrosion, and they continue to work well. If I had any more sheds, I would buy more of these locks. They won't keep someone determined out, but I feel like they would have to make enough noise to get these locks off, that you might hear them, which would give you the chance to do something about it. If you are like me, and have a shed with a key you tend to not lock out of convenience, this is a great option. ... show more

I needed to lock up some items away from someone suffering a mental health crisis. I ordered this and it was delivered promptly. I installed the lock the same day I received it. Many of the items were really simple childproof items. This has the combination lock that makes it much more difficult to defeat. Works perfectly and was easy to install with a very reasonable price. I used the screws and glue to give an even better hold. The piece to layout hole locations worked perfectly, and it was easy to screw pieces onto the respective doors of my cabinet. Only criticism is that the numbers are really small. But with the size of the unit, they couldn't be much larger. Highly recommend. ... show more

Not as large as I thought, be sure to measure it's placement. I did find the included mounting paper guide very useful. Especially if you're using this for an outside door shed that has a vertical gab, the door lock allows for a gab which is handy.

Super easy to set up and attach to gate. Great price, lock looks nice, and is the perfect size. This was the answer for a gate that I wanted to be a little more secure than the previous owner's method of keeping it closed via a bungee cord. I would buy this lock again if needed.

Strong, easy to install, fantastic password door lock. This came with excellent instructions and all the hardware you need to install it (as well as a cardboard guide so you know where to drill the holes for the screws). This works great and is an excellent value for the cost
