We installed 6 of these on our new fence 12/2023. One of them has already broken it may have been from stretching from one of the horses. I am going to install another handle and I’m sure it will last longer this time.

    • Pretty standard gate hardware. Spring is a little strong for my needs.

A pair of electric fence gate handles. One end attaches to wire, the other to your gate hook. Really designed for use with wood or metal fence posts. I have a pretty small enclosure for bees, so I'm using a mix of fiberglass and ABS fence posts. The spring in the handle will bend the uprights before stretching. Simple solution for me, I attached a lighter weight spring between the wire end of the handle and the wire - running the wire back along the spring to the handle. Works just the same. ... show more
