Great hinges, these will hold a massive gate. They're very large and heavy. They can be bolted on or welded, they'll be going on my driveway gate. I have no reservations about them working, they're very beefy and don't seem to have any resistance or friction that might make them not work well. Nice finish very well made. ... show more

The hinges are as advertised, very heavy duty. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the holes call for 1/2inch bolts. 1/2inch bolts would not go through the holes in the hinge, I had to use a 1/2inch drill bit and drill the holes to make the bolts work. I would buy again

I am using these on a 6'X6' door framed in 2x4s and covered in metal. These hinges support the weight and open and close smoothly. I was not sure what i was going to use for hinges and these were perfect for my needs. I would buy these again. 5 STARS
