It took about 2.5 - 3 hours for me to build, mostly by myself. My partner helped me hold some pieces still while screwing them in, but it was easy to do by myself outside of that. I do recommend a power drill for assembly. It is possible to do this without one, but it’ll take longer to put together and be tiring. It’s sturdy, looks nice, and is comfortable for lounging. I chose this piece because I wanted a love seat in my den, but also a small bed for family members children to sleep when they visit us. It’s perfect for 1-2 small kids, but we will def get a foam topper for sleeping for their comfort. I, as many other people leaving reviews, do not reccomended this for a daily bed. I am still giving it 5 starts because I don’t think it was made with the intention of being slept on every night. Shipping was high because it was through FedEx. Also, FedEx will leave the two LARGE boxes on your front porch without requiring a signature, so be warned if you deal with stolen packages. I recommend requesting tracking information from the seller so you can see when it is delivered. I was not notified through the Amazon app or my email that the package was delivered, and the first of two boxes sat on my front porch for 5 hours while I was at work. Pretty easy to assemble, regardless of the instructions not being very clear. The "beige" option is NOT beige, it is white. I read this on another review and was hoping it was just a mis-shipment, but I promise if you pick beige, you will get white. I still love it, it's beautiful, so I will not be contacting the seller (though they should update their description). This is a great option for 1x/year guest to sleep over for a night, but I would not count on using this as a permanent guest bed option. I would be adding a topper and sheets. The bottom slides out easily enough, but adding tracks inside could have been a better design. If you don't put this couch on carpet or stick down the legs, it's a little awkward, as the whole things comes with you when you pull just the bottom. Can fit a small blanket in the arm storage, books, etc. The cord for the charger is pretty short; make sure you have an outlet close by if you want to use this feature. Overall, great for small spaces, very soft fabric, comfortable enough for sitting, and getting cozy with a book/puzzle/journal. I am not disappointed! ... show more

It's not bad. You get what you pay for. It works as described so that's good. What is extremely misleading is they say this is a queen. It's is NOT even close. A standard queen mattress is 60 inches wide. The sleep-able surface on the sofa is 48 1/2", not even as wide as a full mattress. I was very disappointed when I found out about thIS but it was already half way put together and the hassle of returning it makes it not worth it. So BUYER BEWARE. Let me start by saying the box it comes in is well over a hundred pounds. It was quite the feat getting it up three stairs, across the porch, and into my house. I know I read somewhere it came in three boxes. Not so. I had no idea everything was nested under the main section. Enough of that. It wasn’t difficult to assemble. Putting all the parts together, I was once again reminded that you get what you pay for and wondered how long this will last. Despite measuring 50 times, the couch is smaller than I envisioned. My plan was to have something I could lay on and snuggle my three elderly (50-lb) dogs while we watched Christmas movies in front of the fire. Somehow we do all fit - barely. The biggest question I had as I researched couches.. comfort! If you want something soft and cushy this is NOT for you! To make matters worse, the backrest, while it does angle a fraction of an inch, pretty much has you sitting bolt upright. You cannot sit on this couch for long. Also, the fabric will take the skin right off your bones. Nothing plush about it. Total side note, they clearly think everyone is right-handed because the tray can’t go on the left. I did not attach it because it is totally useless to me. Now here’s the plot twist you didn’t see coming! I don’t regret buying this couch. I purchased it for my dogs, all of whom will likely pass in the coming year. I just wanted time to snuggle them before that happens. When you pull out the end and then recline the backrest, it isn’t bad. One last note. Be very careful taking this couch out of the box! It clearly says if you have to return it, it has to be in the original packing. It is totally impossible to not destroy the box when removing it. ... show more
