I wasn't expecting alot out of this chainsaw. But it starts on the first pull when warmed up. Maybe the 3rd pull with the choke on when cold. It cuts so nice and effortless, this thing is a beast! My brother was so impressed with this saw after he used it, he bought one too. The chain had to be tightened once after initial start up and first use but after a cord of wood, it's still doesn't need tightening. The chain seems to be good quality. It's still sharp. The only thing we have both noticed is that you go thru fuel pretty fast. That might just be the nature of bigger saws. Power is abundant with this thing. It never bogged down. How long will it last, I don't know but if I had to buy a cord of wood, it would of been more then the chainsaw cost so it has already paid for itself minus my labor. This saw was easy to assemble and it starts very easily. It runs very smoothly and is not heavy. My concerns are that some of the exterior hardware, like the choke knob, is flimsy and would not take daily abuse, and that parts could be difficult to find. I want to buy a spare chain but it's not as easy as it should be. However, for a $120 saw its pretty amazing. ... show more

The saw is built well and runs great. My problem with it is I ran it for a total of 5 hours give or take and I can no longer lighten the bar and chain. The screw seems stripped as it just free spins and won't tighten anything. I have reached out to the manufacturer and waiting on a response. Will update ... show more

    • Easy to start
I bought this saw as a backup to my Stihl. I wasn’t expecting much because of the low price. It sat brand new and unused for six months, until my Stihl became even more difficult to start than usual. I gave up on the Stihl after wearing my arm out and gassed up the Chinese saw. It started on the third pull. What’s more the starter has a spring in it that does most of the work. Pulling the rope winds and tightens the spring, loading it with torque, which then cranks the engine. The saw is simple, basic, powerful and so far hasn’t failed to start with just three pulls on the rope. My expensive Stihl is collecting dust… and it’s not sawdust. ... show more

Very disappointed. This saw arrived broken. The biggest shock, it was ASSEMBLED WITH BROKEN PARTS. How does that even happen? I couldn't assemble it the rest of the way, because the adjuster screw for the chain tension has NO HEAD! I couldn't even just replace the screw, because the other end has a gear assembly on it. Poor design and poorer still quality control. The screw didn't break after it was put in the saw, it was defective prior to saw assembly. Where the screw head should be is even anodized black! It never had a head. And it was still put into this saw! ... show more

Well built with a strong motor that could easily handle a 22or 24 inch bar. starts right up and the weight is manageable and balanced. Comes with an Oregon blade that eats right through large tree bases so you can drop em right where you want. All in all fir the price you are getting an excellent quality saw. See how she holds up over the hours I’m going to put on it but as of now its a damn fine saw and I’m considering getting another. This chain saw worked very well and is very powerful. The only problem I had was during assembly. I could not figure out how to release the chain brake from the photo in the instructions. After I positioned the brake at the proper position, I completed the assembly with no problems. Initial starting of the saw went very well per instructions. ... show more

For the money it’s not too bad but I would not buy it again The screw to tighten the chain is threaded after one attempt to tighten it It’s cheap junk. You get what you pay for in this world. I should have just bought the real deal
