Last year I got an LED tree and lights, but there was a flicker that you didn't see until you took a picture and it came out showing one half of the lights lit and the other dark. It took a lot of tries to get a picture with all of them lit. The light was also a bright cool white. Lesson learned! This year I looked specifically for warm, incandescent lights. I got this set to hang over my windows, so I bought the white cord. It comes with extra bulbs and fuses, and clear directions to replace both, and the lights are warm white and have no flicker. These are much more expensive than the generic ones sold on Amazon, but I have been buying those generic lights a year after year and in the midst of all of the chaos of the holiday, I have found myself having to restring parts of my tree, parts of my exterior lighting, etc. Usually, the lights I am replacing are one year old, with limited use! I decided it was worth the money to buy American. There is a visible difference in the quality of the light string. Overall they’re decent lights. We use them as fairy lights and hung them around the perimeter of a bedroom to give a cozy feel. We had to replace the last set after they lasted for 2.5 years and we decided to use this brand over the other because it was slightly cheaper. Within week we’ve already had a few lights burn out and have used up all the replacement bulbs/fuses that come with it.
