This thing came in a box that was approximately 18“ x 2‘. It is in 2 foot sections that bolt together to form the ring. The sections have plastic sheeting. You have to peel off prior to bolting together. The ring is about 12 gauge metal in thickness. we burned for about eight hours. Some of the ring had deformation due to heat tempering, but overall it performed as expected, and prevent prevented fires from spreading out across the ground.

Absolutely not what is described. Within15 mins of the first fire in the ring, the outer black paint melted off. “UPDATE” after working with the seller, a refund was issued quickly with great customer service.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Colored on the outside burned off within one fire. If you like larger fires, this is not the ring for you. Barely held up through one fire and top started to fold in.

The thing works great. But don't expect the paint to stay on. Just buy the silver galvanized one . At least in my fires the black paint came off. Maybe I was doin too much. I feel if any sort of fire 6 ft or higher. It's gonna come off.
