There are so many choices for solar string lights you can never truly find the perfect one you are looking for. This string of lights is pretty nice if you know what you are expecting. The solar charge base is large and seems to charge quickly and indicates when it is charging. It can be mounted with a typical plastic ground spike or screwed in more permanently if needed. The lights seem a bit far apart at first but when we put them up on our campsite it was a very nice ambience and I don't think I want more lights, it would actually be too bright. There are a couple extra bulbs and a remote control that lets you set run time or dim the lights, which is very nice. The remote also let's you set the light to a seizure inducing flickering, not sure who would use that. Overall a very nice set of lights that we are enjoying. ... show more

Nice outdoor solar string lights. I used these along the inside edge of my gazebo and mounted the solar panel on the outside. The remote is a nice touch but even if you use it to turn them off, they still turn on at dusk.
