I lined the bottom of my large and my small rat cages with 4 inches on each side to keep bedding from falling out. Rats need lots of bedding to burrow so this has been great for allowing burrows without all the bedding falling out. This item is a great value because you get more for your money. The downside like I said delicate, not for breakage but scratches. If you can work with the product without taking off the plastic film that will save you a lot of frustration aka scratches. I used this to a replace a glass that broke on a shadow box project. By the way I’ve never done this before so I did not know what to expect or if I even made the right choice on using this material. I ordered the 16 x 20. I needed it to be slightly bigger to fit in the glass grove in my frame and I needed it a little thicker. After all said and done I needed it to work so I used Gorilla tape to secure it to the frame.
